They are. So dark nobody can see them trailing in the distance .

problem after problem to be honest, the takeover talk, threat of admin & the untimely death of Ray Jones has obviously had more of an effect than expected.

I heard in the summer that we couldnt bank the season ticket money paid on credit cards as we didnt have a bank that would deal with us. I also know that quite a few are suing the club for unfair dismissal plus i doubt if the players were paid in the summer & Chelsea think they have problems

so you were one of the 680 then that travelled the 40miles to QPR when you had to win to stay up - pity they didnt turn up that day!

Given that we lost that game and still didn't get relegated until the next game it wasn't really a had to win game was it? That's probably why. Plus many would've had the foresight to see yet another ref would fcuk us over at your shithole. As it goes, they were spot on too

Btw, if you don't want him, we'll have Harford back. Superb coach of footballers. Obviously not so good with a bunch of hoofers though .

gregory sacked!

given the factors that you've spoken of bowles, would you say this is a fair sacking?

afraid so, yes. It was inevitable after the poor start.

I actually like & respect the fella. I think the players have let him down big time with their perfomances over the last few weeks.

He saved us last season from relegation & i thank him for that.

Got that big lump from luton as temp man in charge which worries me now!

another shocker tonight he plays 2 midfielders in defence & puts the defenders on the bench

as yet we have still not started a game with the same back 4 we finished so well at the end of last season when we won 5 out of 7 last games. WHY? they are all fit so i really dont know!!

I really cannot believe what is happening down there at the moment.

Shipping 9 goals in 2 games is just madness.

New manager to be appointed soon, looks like either vialli or roeder plus a director of football from italy it is rumoured.

Fact is that hardly any of the current players will figure come January. Serves them right i suppose as some just aint cutting it.

never seen so many names linked to 1 job!

Another day; another name! Vialli, Costacurta, Barese, Roeder, Hoddle, Pearce, Keegan, Jewell, Warnock, Adams, Allen, Klinsman, Ferdinand, and now Venables "mentioned" as either being wanted by QPR or hoping QPR will be interested in them

People - Tel's QPR shocker! -EXCLUSIVE By Tom Hopkinson
Terry Venables last night emerged as a shock contender to become QPR's new manager.
People Sport understands England's No.2 has made Loftus Road bigwigs aware that he would be interested in a sensational return to the club he led in the early 80s.
Venables has put his name into the melting pot along with a staggering 192 other applicants - including another former England boss, Glenn Hoddle.
Andnew QPR owners Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone, with chairman Gianni Paladini, must now decide whether the former club captain, shareholder and managing director is the man for the job.
Venables, who made 179 appearances for QPR, would be able to combine the role with his current duties as Steve McClaren's secondin-command within the England set-up.
And a return to club management would enable him to get back into the English game on a day-to-day basis for the first time since he was sacked by Leeds in 2003. People

now i know where he learnt that, 1st one was & 2nd wasnt so it evened itself out. Looks a reasonable player but cant see that we'd sign him unless he takes a massive wage cut.

still better than most of our lot

though, the rumour is that italian Guidolin will be named manager & he has lined up De Piero as 1st signing. Briatore has become so involved he now wants to put up £20m for a transfer kitty in Jan, get on the R's for promotion!

QPR 1 Ipswich 1

stats

QPR
Shots 8 (3 on target)
Possession 47%
Corners 3
Bookings 1

Ipswich
Shots 8 (3 on target)
Possession 53%
Corners 7
Bookings 0

Strange team selection with only 1 recognised striker playing (Vine) & 2 strikers on the bench (Nygaard & Moore). Was nice to see Mancienne back in at right back but his distribution was poor throughout & wasnt surprised to see him subbed in 2nd half. 1st half didnt create too many chnaces & i cant recall Ipswich troubling our end. Leigerwood probably had the best chance but fired low & wide of the far post after a great move.
2nd half saw a bit more impetous with Legwinski scoring a great solo effort from 25 yards which flew in over Lee Camps head. Rangers then immediately made the substitution replacing mancienne for Nygaard who went straight up front to cause havoc. He slotted home with about 12 to go which we fully deserved. Late on, a strong penalty appeal for us when Bolder had his legs taken away was over-ruled & Campy saved a goal bound header from Ipswich in the final few minutes. probably a draw a fair result but now we have gone 3 unbeaten at home with only 2 conceded however our scoring form remains poor.

after a great point at preston midweek, today we turned over Charlton away from home 0-1. We came out 2nd half & really took the game to them. Rowan Vine was excellent in attack holding the ball up & we really could have won by more in a dominant 2nd half performance. Charlton had 2 decent chances 1st half but rued those at the end. A missed penalty by us (Rowlands) cost me a nice return after nicking 18/1 on out top scorer & pen taker!!

off the bottom now & hopefully with 2 home approaching we can move up the table
