Wrexham supporting them disappoints me as well.
The strong rumour is the creditors list was allegedly packed with unknown creditors who were not owed anything and seemed to be controlled by an offshore company with connections to someone in power at the club....allegedly.
This results in
1. Less money being paid to true creditors
2. A load of dodgy votes for any deal.

To be honest this is standard practice by dodgy people. It happened with someone once connected with Wrexham and it happened with someone who owed my Chambers money...when she went for a CVA she suddenly appeared to owe a lot of money to a lot or relatives.

Of course, KB is not dodgy.

Remind me though...two years ago were all these Leeds fans hailing KB as the second coming?

is this illegal - i imagine it is, but if there are ways around it then, for Ken Bates, its well played.

most of these people only do what they do because they are allowed to get away with it.

Under the strict letter of the law, it's not illegal.

But, there has been hardly any pressure to expose the true identity of these offshore companies. Their behaviour is bizarre, they refuse to accept money back 'for the good of football' and overwhelmingly voted for no takeover apart from Bates.

The administrators were a disgrace as well. Talk about a closed deal, had there been true impartiality there would have been much better options for a massive club like Leeds.

I get a feeling that the clubs that voted for Bates were hoping for leniency just in case they fell on hard times themselves. 'You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours', that kind of thing.

Tresor Kandol's last-minute winner gave Leeds victory as Dennis Wise's side began their first season in League One.

Leeds, who started the campaign with a 15-point deduction, fell behind when Chris Greenacre arrived at the back post to convert a Chris Shuker cross.

But the visitors fought back after the break and levelled when Matt Heath headed home Alan Thompson's free-kick.
