We can get 3 pts v Ipswich, but Plymouth at home last game of seaosn for Hull is a god send for them, all theyve got to do is match our points and can't see us getting anything at Pride Park. I've watched in the past wehre miracles stories happen to other clubs on last game of the season (Everton in '94 spring to mind) just hope this season it cuold be my club. ![]()

| I can't believe a side that got to the playoff final last season is struggling to avoid dropping into the 3rd tier of English football. The appointment of Wise was and is a huge error IMO and that will need changing come next season no matter what division this once proud club is in.

| this season has come as no surprise tbh.....in fact i predicted it in the season preview thread b4 the season started. we were well lucky last year, and teams were in awe of playing the mighty leeds united. well not any more.... we have had bad management all yr, imo blackwell should never have been sacked...and ffs...i am no way a football guru, but wtf is going on at elland rd. 1.this left back position has been a joke. 2.the goalkeeping position has been a joke 3.the midfield has been a joke, now last 2 vital games to play with douglas and thompson banned, and the best performer over the last month gone back to bolton. 4.the gary kelly thing has been a joke. 5.the palace team sheet thing has been a joke 6.the strikers playing in midfield has been a joke 7.the nichols luton love affair ffs man to name a few. so why the fcuk doesn't the leeds hierarchy read pl, and they could have sorted this last summer where the fcuk was the signing of koumas or similar. our midfield is shite. bye bye healy kelly blake cresswell gray fcuck off wise/poyet/thompson/derry/crainey/heath/kandol/sa/lewis/nichols/carole/moore time to rebuild with good young prospects danny rose/tom elliott/johnny howson, well thats if fcucking chealsea dont rape us again. fcuk the old twats looking to leeds for one last payday now we have to look to hull city. a club run by an ex leeds united board member. i bet he is laughing his tits off man. home v ipswich, tbh i honestly think home win. cardiff v hull, same again got to be home win. u owe us that ridsdale u silly cnut. derby away....well its gonna be like bournemouth. 50000 leeds fans in derby if it go's down to the last game. definately a day to stay out of derby that day. a draw would be the best we can hope for with no midfield.0-0 if we are lucky. hull v plymouth, notoriously bad travellers, but looked ok at elland rd. got to be home win that game. so we are down on goal difference or by a point... dt

| Looks like going to the last weekend this battle. The fact Leeds have to travel to Derby is a disaster for them really, Derby County are still playing for the automatic playoff spot so they will be more inspired than ever to claim 3 points in front of a massive home crowd. But to be honest, Hull City just dont impress me, they are very ordinary. Leeds beat Ipswich this weekend which seems pretty likely and Hull lose, Hull are no certainties to win on the final day. I might be stating the obvious here, but its vital Leeds win this week and I think they may just get some luck on the final day even if they do lose to Derby Its going to be tight, but hang in there Leeds, too early to be talking relegation yet |

| Blimey, you would be forgiven for thinking Leeds needed a miracle to survive. Derby on the last day might not be just as bad as you think. If Sunderland and Birmingham win at the weekend, and Derby lose, then Derby won't be too keen on playing the likes of Howard on the final day. They have also looked pretty nervy of late, Leeds could maybe get something from there. Leeds have a terrible away record, but they came very close to beating Colchester and with 10 men getting a result at Southampton. Surely not done and dusted just yet? |

The problem I can see is that Cardiff are already on the beach and it's no certainty that Hull will lose there. The other thing to factor into the equation is we go to Southend on Saturday giving them 3pts and sticking them right back into the mix thus giving 2 teams chances to send Leeds down ![]() | |

| FORMER Elland Road boss Kevin Blackwell insists Leeds United will regain their former greatness regardless of whether the club are relegated from the Championship. Blackwell claimed United are "too big and too well-respected" to suffer a permanent decline, despite seeing them fall from the play-off final to the verge of relegation in the space of 12 months. Leeds have two games with which to bridge the one-point gap between themselves and Hull City, who lie one place above the Championship's bottom three, and their fate will be sealed on Saturday if results conspire against Dennis Wise's squad. Blackwell, who was sacked from his position as United's manager in September, said: "It does break my heart to see the club where it is now, but it will be back. It's too big and too well-respected not to be. "The fans are everywhere and Leeds will be a great club again. There's no question about that. "I don't care which clubs you talk about – no-one can out-do the supporters of Leeds United. "It's the biggest club in Yorkshire by a country mile, and in the north of England. Forget about the mob over the Pennines – they can't touch Leeds. Leeds have got a grudging respect from everyone. "Everywhere we went, we'd always produce sell out crowds. A lot of people might not like Leeds but they sure as hell wanted to come and see us. The facts speak for themselves." United's run to last season's play-off final was the biggest achievement of Blackwell's fledgling career at Elland Road, though the opportunity for a return to the Premiership was lost as around 50,000 supporters watched Leeds suffer a 3-0 defeat to Watford. But Blackwell said: "That day proved what a massive club this is. The whole stadium was white, with a little patch of orange from Watford in one corner. The people who run the Millennium Stadium have never seen a day like it, or earned more money from a single event. "You often hear people talk about Leeds United and how big they are, but sometimes it takes a day like that for outsiders to actually understand it." Leeds, meanwhile, were today waiting on the result of Alan Thompson's appeal against his red card at Southampton.

TBH, I think it could be all over this weekend. everyone is expecting the leeds win and hull to get beat @ ninian park. It really wouldn't surprise me if we fail to beat the tractor boys and Hull get something against Cardiff.

| Ahhh the weekend again, and back into the pressure pot of Championship relegation for Hull and Leeds Leeds need to win to keep the pressure on Hull, as it has come down to these two teams fighting for one spot although southend with 2 wins could possible sneak it. So this week has Leeds v Ipswich - Nothing but a win here, a draw aint the end of the world if hull lose, but its dam close Cardiff v Hull - Would Mr Ridsdale like to c the end of leeds, or will Cardiff Win. Southend v Luton - A win here puts Southend back in the hunt. COME ON LEEDS ![]() |
