|  Leeds United Thread shocking news from elland rd...... the leeds utd team sheet handed over to crystal palace 2 hours before kick-off by an as yet unnamed leeds utd player......... i am hearing rumours about sean derry as he used to play for palace, but cant beleive he would do such a thing, as he seems to enjoy it at leeds?? anybody heard anything different??? dt

Maybe the player in question has a friend in the Palace camp & they were just chatting before the match & just in conversation he said somthing innocent (but naive) along the lines of "I'm not playing today as the gaffer wants to try a different formation" etc. & then proceeded to let the cat out of the bag. |

| Re: mystery leeds utd player Whoever it is it's a ridiculous state of affairs . . . I'd like to know to what extent the 'mole' has given away the teamsheet. If he's gone and given them 1-11, which i think seems likely considering the severity of Wise's actions then he deserves to be sacked. If he's simply said 'me and him arent' playing' or something like that then it may be a little harsh! There was a rumour gogin round ER yesterday that it was Kelly as I think he is still the 3rd highest paid right back in England and it'd be a cheap way of sacking him, cutting his wage from the bill without having to pay him compo. I can't see it though myself, the guy is Leeds through and through and loves the place. My money however is on either Derry (ex Palace player so obvious connections) or Thompson (withdrawn from the squad at 1.30pm). It's not Sullivan as he was on the bench, nor can it be Stack as he was warmign down after the match quiet amicably with the rest of the team. Fcuk it, i'll stick my neck out and say it's Derry . . . . or Thompson!

| Re: mystery leeds utd player I've a decent source inside Leeds who told me it's Derry. Absolutely no reason to disbelieve him. Have to ask what real harm he's done though tbh, they'd have found it out an hour later anyway and it obviously didn't help Palace! With Taylor in charge nothing can help Palace!! |
