Got my ticket for Saturday
Bus booked, beer in the fridge

I think Hull may well beat us, but we've had a great 1st season back in the Championship.

Come on you reds!

its amazing how many people are happy to slag Hull CIty off.. but how many o f you are actually in the Playoff final ready to take their place in the elite football league.. erm.. think not... give Hull City some credit... they deserve to be where they are.. they may not be your choice of team.. but they are my choice of team.. and i say BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE.. we will make it to the premiership.. we deserve to make it to the premiership.. if we didnt deserve it we wouldnt be at wembly now.. as far as barmby and Windass are concerned.. how many players in your team do you see with the dedicate and will and spunk that these two have..... give them credit..

Come on CIty..

May the best team win.
going to be a complete nightmare don't think I,m going to enjoy a minute of it just to much at stake, its not like a cup final where win or lose you can have a good day out. Remember when we lost to Brighton a few years ago don't want to go through that again.
Personally I would like the final to be a 2 legged game like it was years ago not decided on a one off game at Wembley.

Looking forward to the game.

Been lucky enough to go to 4 play off finals........nothing like them, its the biggest game in football bar none.

I wont say "enjoy it" because its a game you cannot enjoy, but for the winners its one of the best days of your life knowing where you are going, even more so this year with the 2 clubs involved.

I think Hull are the far superior side from the games I watched this season but it doesnt always work like that, West Brom were far better than Derby last year but Derby sneaked it.

Was a great goal from Windass to open proceedings! Cross from the left to the edge of the box and there was Windass who duly dispatched the ball, with a first time volley, past the Bristol City keeper.

Congrats to Hull City, excellent achievement as it was for Gary Johnson and Bristol City to get this far following promotion from Division One last season. Hopefully they wont suffer the 2nd season syndrome and they can mount another impressive display and I hope that Hull will learn from Derby's mistakes this season in the Premiership.

More chance of me flying to moon than hull staying up. It'll be a good away game, we'll loan then Campbell for the season where he'll hopefully score a few goals. Then they can go down for all i care

We'll see, Eric. The Russians used to send chimps into space, so maybe we could start with you.

Guess we'll have to get used to the Premier League snobs looking down their noses, but who cares after superb day out at Wembley. I never thought I'd see a day like this. Top marks to the Bristol City fans I met today, too - real football people supporting a real football club.

Only the Tigernation will understand this, but it's finally time to put to bed thoughts of Christopher Needler, Dolan & Fish, Hinchliffe & Buchanan, David Lloyd, Michael Appleton, Mark Hateley, Stan Ternant, Dave Bamber, Iain Hesford, trips to the High Court to hear another winding-up petition, the bucket collections, the lockout, playing our 'last ever' game about four times, Burnley away in 84, being six points adrift at the bottom of Divsion 4 less than a decade ago, giving up Bunkers to the Bradford City fans, an empty Kempton for years... We've done our time in footballing hell, and earned our place with the aristocrats.

Good luck for next season Ships, I hope Hull can get amongst the big boys and cause them some headaches. It's amazing the difference in paths our sides have taken since we were fighting for the League 1 title 3 seasons ago.

Massive Congratulations to Hull. Really pleased for them. Went to the KC last year when Leeds and Hull were fighting out it to stay up (we all now who managed that!) and I was impressed with the stadium and general set up. There transformation under Brown has been phenomenal.

There's no reason at all why Hull can't do a Bolton - Brown is defintely in the mould of Allardyce and in my humble opinion they will be a better asset to the EPL than the likes of Wigan.

Good luck!

P.s. Am i right in thinking Hull is one of the largest dozen or so cities in England yet it has never been in the top flight?!

Yep, never had a top flight team.

Well doen to Hull, it's gonna be a difficult one, they are faced with the dreadful decision now, to spend or not to spend.

If they don't spend, it's Derby all over again. Relegated by Xmas. but the club is safe, and money in place for another go with a stronger squad. This is the WBA model.

If they spend poorly, they could end up like Bradford, bankrupt and still relegated with a massive wage bill that cripples the club.

The trick is to spend well and stay up. 16th place has gotta be the target. I think they need 5 or 6 players, most of them with EPL experience.

Good luck to them

Congrats to Hull good luck next season I,m hoping you will do enough to stay up was glad to see alot of the Bristol City fans applaud your team after the game.

Personnelly I,m gutted but watching Bristol City all these years I,m getting used to it.
Thought it would be a tight game Hull got the goal and after that we did,nt have the guile to break your well organised defence down.
Now in the cold light of the day we have had a great season surpassed all our expectatings and hopefully we can move on next season.(gotta feeling we may struggle a bit though)

On a footnote it seemed strange having escalators at a football ground thought I was in John Lewis at one point on my way to womens wear and lingerie

Massive achievement for Hull to be in the Prem (as it would have been for Bristol City), they deserve it.

I do fear for them though. As mentioned above do you spend and risk the club's future or don't spend, safeguard the future and risk getting hammered each week a la Derby?

The gap between the two leagues is widening each year and I have a horrible feeling that either Hull or Stoke could threaten Derby's records. I truly hope I am wrong and both teams can really mix it up with the big boys.

No offense , but your entire squad is shite, it'll be a long season and doubt you'll stay up. Do i care if you or any other side stays up ? no i don't, and i'll tell you why, i support the greatest club on the planet

As i said we'll loan you Campbell for our own benefit and tear up Hull when we go there (we'll have a great time in that part of the country i can assure you ).

Do you expect a pat on the back or something for getting in the league ? . There wont be a side in the league that wont take the piss and expect to beat you 4-0 +. United will be your cup final and you'll go half the grounds for a day out, Liverpool, Chelsea etc will be close behind.

Btw heres some tips for your fans to help the embarrassment don't sing any of the following 'who r ya' when we are 5-0 up. '60k cockneys' because its simply not true nor 'your support is shite' because it makes you sound extremely small time.

When the atmosphere isn't that great at old trafford (and every other ground) when you play there i'll tell you why, we've got bigger fish to fry basically, we will not give a toss about that game and its likely we'll be thinking of a game thats worth while the following week. The away supports you see will be dramatically different to the home ones you experience .

also do me favor, sing blue moon and you'll never walk alone when youre at old trafford a few times like sunderland fans did, that'll the atmosphere.

West Brom is a good away, Hull will be, Stoke is a pain in the arse to get to but will also be a good away. All in all i'm quite pleased actually.

And that post pretty much sums up why the majority of football fans can't stand Man Utd fans.

Fair play to Hull, it was a class goal from Windass worthy of getting promotion really. I expected them to win, so whilst I'm gutted on reflection I thought we put in a decent performance but lacked that cutting edge (which we have all season).

Had we gone up, it would have been far too early and we would have done a Derby unless we splashed some serious cash. Next season will be difficult and unless Johnson gets a pacey striker who can get us 20 goals and a couple of other top players I don't see us making the top half. Still it's been a great season, and as long as we can hold on to our manager I think the futures bright for us.
