Reading tried and failed, Birmingham tried and Failed, Derby tried and failed. Hull have Barmby, Windass, Hughes, Garcia, Bridges, Folan, Petersen, Fagan, Livermore, Okacha and Campbell who have all failed to make it in the premiership. There may be more. Bristol city may actually be in a better position to win the play off and stay up as they have a younger, more open to improvement squad. However, neither current squad would survive in the top flight and I simply cannot see either having the profile to attract any decent players
