A win will see them continue their rise through the divisions.
They have also won the Presidents Cup this season beating Radcliffe Borough in the final.

Win or Lose on Saturday this has been another brilliant season.
Long may it continue

It is an impressive start to their history, they just wind me up with their arrogance and the fact that they think they invented non league football.

Hucknall's relegation means that if FC United of Bury win the play-offs we will be playing them next season. I am looking forward to a bumper attendance at Watnall Road, unless it is a midweek game and Man Utd are playing in the Euopean cup, in which case there will only be 100 travelling fans

They averaged just over 2,000 this season. the highest being 3,384 and the lowest being 1,558. To be fair they do provide all the away teams with their record attendances too.

Their crowds this season are down 19% on last years despite them having another very good season in a much better league. I think the novelty has worn off a little bit.

The low 365 V Harrogate railway was on the evening that Man Utd played Roma.... although this is out of date as there were only 325 at Curzon this year

Just to point out that the average attendance in the Unibond 1 (north) increased by 85%, which can solely be attributed to FCUB

Hope they do it and then come to my local side Witton Albion next season where our firm the Witton Warriors will be lying in wait

Joking aside my son and heir plays for the Witton U13's so I attend a few matches and it is amazing how Witton have blown their promotion again this season. Miles clear to be pipped in the last game then they lost the play off on pens Last year they finished level on points and GD and lost out due goals scored a difference of 1

Ah well at least we may have the please of S.C.U.M next season

I have mixed feelings about Witton missing out on promotion (again), on one hand I would have loved to have seen them, rather than Fleetwood go up....on the other hand, due to our relegation, I am glad that Fleetwood are not in the same division as us. You looked a good side when we played you in the FA Trophy this season.

don't know where you get that from ?
you sound bitter

don't know if that is right but there are a lot
of football league clubs whose attendances are down this season
so if it is true then its going along with the trend.

This season even United have had tickets on general sale for some games.

Quote:
FC United of Bury
more sarcasm and bitterness
nothing to do with the fan base being United fans ?
that was the cause of the trouble at Garforth last week.

considering the time scale they had when they were formed
and there was a lot of people said they couldn't do it....
they have all been proved wrong
the money they have brought to non league football has to be good for the game.
It takes time and money to get your own ground.
hense the ground share with Bury fc

their own ground will come
so come on give them a break.

Development Fund Information

NEWSFLASH: The Development Fund has now got 384 people contributing monthly, a total of over £39,000 per annum. Thanks to everyone who's contributed. Let's see if we can get over 400 soon!

This website is dedicated to the FC United Development Fund, a name you’ve probably heard but might not know too much about.
The Development Fund Explained

We’re now into our third year as a football club and with each passing season the realisation that we need our own home grows stronger.
The club are already in the early stages of planning our eventual move to our own ground, crucial to which is the input of the club’s members.
Early estimates put the cost of building our own club facilities, including a stadium, at £6m - £8m.
As with the purchase of any home, FC United need to raise a deposit; the Development Fund has been set up to raise that deposit.

How Much Money Do We Need & How Can I Help?

With a season 2007-2008 target of £100,000 and an overall target of £500,000, the Development Fund needs the help of every FC United fan. The Development Fund needs you! Only with your help will the dream of playing in our own ground become a reality.
Fundraising will take various forms and will be co-ordinated by the club’s Development Fundraising Group, which will meet regularly to plan events, drive fundraising initiatives and review our progress towards the £100,000 target for the season.

I am far from bitter and I have nothing against Manchester United at all.... Why should I? I support Hucknall Town, my local non league football team.

I agree, what FCUM have achieved has been great, the £100,000 that the club had in the bank in 2005 has certainly helped that, no wonder they pis$ed their leagues with that sort of backing, they are truly the Manchester united of non league football which show a certain kind of hypocrisy in my opinion.

What was wrong with disgruntled Manchester United 'fans' going to follow one of the existing local non league teams such as Hyde, Leigh, Grays or Truro?...... Why not take over Leigh when they asked?

That shows a certain amount of arrogance....... As though non league teams who have survived for over a hundred years should be eternally greatful for one bumper attendance while FCUM buy their way up the pyramid.

The drop in the attendance that I mentioned was to make the point that despite being promoted their crowds are down by 19%. This may have something to do with the doom-mongerers being proved wrong about the Glazer takeover... have those lost fans had enough of playing at being non league supporters and gone back to 'real' football?

Anyway, I dont want to sound bitter, but I have a feeling that I am not succeeding

Good luck next season (hopefully in the unibond prem).

A genuine question..... If FCUM got through to the 3rd round of the FA Cup and drew Manchester United who would they support?

one word Glazer

FCUM was formed by United fans disillusioned by the Glazer takeover
of their club. A club they loved. A club who didn't need the Glazers.
Yes i know that if more United fans had bought shares in United then
this would not have happened. It was our own fault.

Nevertheless United were one of the richest clubs pre-Glazer.
I won't go into all the reasons why we didn't want the Glazer takeover
it has all been said before but because of this lots of United fans walked away from United for one reason or another in protest.

F.C.United was formed
Owned and controlled by the fans who have total control over how it is run.

"Most people here still love United," Andy Walsh said, "but they love their feeling for United, which grew from following the club for years, not the big business which came to exploit that loyalty. We're aiming to show a football club can be run by and for supporters, open to all sections of society."

This is a football club they have fashioned for themselves out of belief and conviction.

Just to point out the low attendance at the Curzon Ashton game this season, was due to a protest by FC united because the league moved the game so it could be shown on their internet tv site.

Changing the kick off of a football match due to TV?!? No way!

I never thought in a million years I would see the day that that happened, what next? sponsorship on shirts?

Stop this ridiculous progress at once I say!

No the protest was from both teams, the league had agreed at the start of the season if they wanted to move a game for tv then both teams should agree. Both FC and Curzton disagreed with the moving of the game, therefore the fans didn't attend.

Congrats to them on going up, their rise is most impressive.
Even better to see Bradford Park Avenue slowly climbing the pyramid too, a club from yesteryear.

Any news on them getting their own ground or is it just ground sharing with Bury?
