Just been watching some of the Villa v Chelsea game to see Drogba and Knight tussling for the ball when all they are doing is shirt pulling.

No other contact made and Drogba goes down holding his face.

Fcuking disgracefull.

It's about time the video evidence was used to ban players for this behaviour.

I'm not sore at all. Drogba dived today and if he had booked for it he could have had no complaints. Villa deserved their win, even though we had the majority of posession, because they put their chances away - I chuckled when it happened to Man Utd against City, so I'll take it fully on the chin today. We weren't good enopugh and Villa were - simple as.

Every team in the Premiership has players who will dive in certain situations.

Every team in the Premiership has tapped up a player they are interested in - if they didn't then no transfers would ever happen.

Only one team in the Premiership has drawn up a 3rd party ownership agreement which insiders in the club believed to be illegal, lied about it in order to get 2 players registered, and then continued to lie about it until it was obvious they were gonna be found out, then ripped up the contract illegally and jumped through hoops to arrange a loan deal with another club so that the FA couldn't do them for lying in the first place.

So, in the spirit of good old fashioned banter....

Back to topic, I don't see why Drogba did the faffing around, rolling around hurt (unless the footage mised him getting a belt in the bake). He won the free kick, faffing around acting hurt, and when they got to take the free kick he had to be off the pitch, so why the fcuk do you do it? Surely Moaninho can't be happy when he does that, the free kick was won for the shirt pull and his target man for it has to go off because he faffs around acting hurt!

Ah well. Villa won, I'm happy. When the FA finally act and punish players for feigning injury and diving with bans / big fines it will maybe stop. Until then players will do it.
