Default Doncaster v Leeds

Quite looking forward to this. These league play offs are normally a bit hollow and false but reckon this one might be quite enjoyable. Its been brilliant seeing leeds fall to bits.

Why has it been brilliant ??

It might do you the world of good to read AJ's comments on the financial situation at Man Utd - The smile you have now may be long gone in 4-5 years.

Yep, very, very well done to Doncaster, they deserved it at the end and was probably the best team in the league for the last 2 months or so. ... I thought we played well enough without ever threatening, just didn't have the edge in the final 3rd, too many battlers in midfield and not a lot of flair.

P.s. Eric, i don't like people like you. I am a football fan I have never enjoyed another teams demise, be it our 'arch rivals' Man United or Bradford, or someone with no connection to like Scarborough or Macclesfield. . . . How many times you been to old trafford by the way?

You could say that about every side on the planet. Leeds aren't in the same league as United on any level and we haven't got the idiots leeds had in charge (although they may be twats they know what they are doing). We are already ready at the top, we are a sustainable club even though we have debt. Its also not in the glazers interests to run the club into the ground. Its even more reassuring in terms of 'doing a leeds' they are running it as a business.

Fair enough, as I have said, hats off to you, I mean that. And of course I don't know you from adam, but do you realise the amount of nobh3ads who give the genuine Man united fans a bad name? Here in York you have people chirping on, "we this" and "we that" when talking about the fact they have CHOSEN to Support the best team in Europe!

And just for the record, I'm not clutching at straws. I having nothing against Man United (despite the fact i'm supposed to hate the "scum"), I was rooting for you on Wednesday as you play the better football, have more about you, and (on the whole) have no players like drogba!

I genuinely will, and genuinely have done.

It certainly beats the continous games of petty one-upmanship that seems to drive you.

Dont you find that with most MU fans though, they are less happy concentrating on their own success, they fill their days laughing at others and TBH between City, Leeds and Liverpool who can blame them

Unlucky Leeds I was genuinely for you today but the better side won but I'm pretty sure there will be no play offs for you next season you must be mailed on for automatic promotion.

I was at wembley and Doncaster deserved to beat us by more than a goal.

They are a good footballing side and exposed just how average we are, even though we will probably go up next season.

I think Donny will easily survive in the Championship, good luck to them.

It's comments like that show you to be a complete child.

I was born in Leeds and always supported them, yet I was jumping up and down for MU when they beat Bayern.

Grow the fcuk up.

Comiserations on losing out, been a hard luck season for Leeds all year from the deduction of the 15 points forward. I'm confident next season you will be able to push for automatic promotion. I just hope that no silly decisions are made off the back of this one result and that the club can sustain some stability through the period which will help them out longer term.

Out of interest how good was James Hayter? Just used to go to school with him years back, know that he scored the winning goal, but wondered how his play is after all these years.

Hard luck Leeds, reckon next season could be yours. Well done Doncaster though, hard to bounce back from a last day of the season flop but they did and did it well. That teams moved forward so much in recent years its unreal. Hopefully the keepmoat will be packed out next season.

Can't stand Bates too much, but Ryan oozes class. He is the one to thank for Doncaster getting where they are and for what they have. There aren't many like him around.

Im disappointed that Leeds didnt win but in no way bias about it - The better team won on the day - However, Donny have done really well in landing their third promotion in 5 years from when they were in the Conference. Fair play - they seem to have the club on solid footing......

However, Eric , Im sorry but you have no fcuking idea what supporting a club means. You tend to hide behind the fact that when you were ten (About 1 year ago) that you made a decision to follow the biggest club in the UK. When you grow pubes and have a decent arguement/banter then we will respect you as an adult - Until then I couldn't give a fiddlers....

Tossers like you and your attitude, come and go.

Hayter did well yesterday. A good championship player I reckon - When he was at Bournemouth, I reckoned he was "A big fish in a small pond" but I was surprised he moved to Donny. Hayter will get his chance but I dont think he'll ever be premiership quality unless a WBA or HULL make an offer.

That said - When I met him (Amongst friends in Bournemouth) he was a very nice bloke and level-headed, And i wish him the best!
