Now thats over, we can get back to normal football now!
We had a debate about this in the pub.

I, as Valiant says think JT was always going to take the 5th as he wanted the glory. A Chelski chum said that if Drogba was still on he'd have taken one. I said that Anelka is more of a penalty taker than JT so he could have taken one of the 1st 5.

Nevertheless I think JT is an arrogant twat and was delighted to see him miss.

Personally, if I supported a team, I'd like to see them win in 90 minutes by being the better team, not by revelling in the misery of a dickhead from Essex who was on a personal glory hunt.

And as for Ronaldo, I've obviously never seen as many penalties as you club and country supporters, but what the fcuk was that all about?

Prefer to be in the South anyway. Being a Midlands side in the Blue SQ is going to be annoying regardless as we are pretty central, but with the high number of London clubs being in the south (plus the fact most idiots seem to thing the Midlands is "North") we are usually coupled with the north conference
I reckon we will do well next season though. Worcester City needs a backer like the rugby team got
PS My grandad played for Worcester City when we beat Liverpool in the FAC up a long time ago

Fcuk knows! In a way it was worse than Terry's!! Ronaldo couldn't have made it any more obvious where he was going to put the ball when he paused in his run. Cech only had to go the way that Ronaldo had been staring for the last 10 seconds and it was a comfortable save.

90 minutes is always the best way to win a game of football but sometimes, sadly as we know, penalties are the only way to settle the game. As a neutral I thought it was more ridiculous that Drogba could sent off for slapping Vidic after what had just been a dispute about a bloody throw-in!!! Seems passions run so high between the 2 clubs but surely you have to know when to control yourself when you're a Premiership International who is paid, I would guess, around £100,000 per week!! Where's the justice in all that cash if at big times you go missing through no fault of anyone's but your own stupidity?

Just got back from Moscow, what a game, what night. THOMAS COOK YOU ARE A FCUKING DISGRACE. No info on how we were suppose to get back to the airport from the ground, walkin round moscow till 4am then get to the airport to find out all the flights are delayed. Complete fcukin shambles!!!

Not defending him at all, he is a disgrace but if i remember right, Ronaldo dived, freekick not given holding his leg as if he been stamped on, then realised utd had the ball and shot to his feet and started sprinting! Not much said about that. But obviously drog done his rollin round a few times!

Fcukin right, hope it is. He let us down when we needed him, looked a bit lazy in large parts of the game, floated in and out. Then the red card! Haven't seen it myself but have heard it was a red. What a fcukin idiot, 5 minutes to go. Sell him!!!!

Bit harsh, biggest game of his career and clubs history. He had the chance to win it, missed, and the rest is history!! Had to admit i had a tear in my eye too

Altogether a fantastic experience that went badly down hill from the 5th penalty till i got home. Think we were the better side and deserved to knick it but thats football! For me Ronaldo is the difference between the 2 teams. Swap him for Malouda and i think we would have won in normal time no problem. Have to agree it would have been unfair if his miss cost them the cup, after the season he has had. But as a Chelsea fan I would have loved it!!!! Bring on next season

It could have been worse though DB...

Did you hear about the plane load of Chelsea fans who had their plane to Moscow cancelled yesterday afternoon?

Glad Man Utd won as best team in CL this season, but gutted for Terry.

Thought the players were a disgrace getting into a fight over nothing on the biggest stage.

Totally agree, once again tho it seemed to be our players steaming in. Earlier Kalou had given Utd the ball back and kicked it in to the corner for a throw on, so tevez had every right to do the same. Van De Tw*t didn't need to run half the length of the pitch to tell him tho

Don't feel sorry for Terry for him missing the penalty, more for the way he missed it.

If he'd missed it with a clean strike then thats football but it must be even more hurtful knowing it was a slip that may have cost them.

Last night's interview with Ronaldo supported my opinion on I dont understand how people call him arrogant. The whole time he mentioned how the lads played well and how the lads deserved to win, not him. I'm sure it's just people still bitter over the whole Rooney/WC 2006 incident.

I am, so i'm going to make my point. If the man utd "fans" can stop gloating for a minute.

the way some of the utd players acted on the pitch last night was a fcking disgrace. 2 moments in the game to back my point up are
(1) when Hargreaves got clattered/slapped (cant remember exactly) over by the touchline, he was down clutching his face, as soon as the decision went against him, he shot straight back to his feet to argue with the ref.
Ronaldo also did this in the game.
(2) Ronaldo every time decisions go against him, he shakes his head. knowing that he is on camera. he's laughable.

the only thing i can slag chelsea off for, is the way drogba got sent off, and let the team down. And Joe Cole's over protesting with some of the decisions.

My biggest criticism is being reserved for the ref and the linesman that was nearest the camera, who give blatantly wrong calls regarding man utd goalkicks, when they were obviously chelsea corners. It didnt happen once, but 3 times in quick succession.
How can you let a ref and linesman, who made controversy 3 years ago, when chelsea lost to liverpool with the "goal" that crossed the line.
how can you leave them officiate a final involving chelsea, nowing past history.

It wasnt the best final that has ever been, but it certainly beat the old trafford final 5 years ago.

Yes mate we ended up in some underground bar down some alleyway round the corner from red square. Took us ages to find a chelsea pub, we walked for miles. Any pub we had been recommended was full of Utd. That was fun walkin past there gettin loads of abuse from them! The bar we ended up in looked like a right dive but was actually quite good. Inside it looked a bit like an underground bomb shelter. Fast table service, a load of chelsea fans, Dynamo Moscow fans and Cska fans to so the banter was really good.

Red square was ok, they had a little fan fest going on but to be honest it felt a bit like it was just there for the Russians. A lot more could have been made of it. Did all the touristy pics. Old bill were everywhere all through moscow. Didnt see any trouble tho (apart from Mcdonalds, cued and hour to get a big mac!!!)

Amazing
Way I see it is we didn't get a few decisions and neither did Chelsea and on the balance it was fair

Very pleased it was not won or lost on a contentious decsion
