| Hammam should be on the list of people who shouldn't be allowed to have anything to do with football clubs again mate. We're probably 3 years away from real stability to the extent we're going to move forward. As a season ticket holder I'm classed as a creditor and I got a document about 100 pages long through the door the other day listing all the creditors and what we owe to them. Businesses of previous owners appears with large sums next to them (as if those cnuts haven't taken enough already ![]() ![]() ) and then there's players contracts and how much they are owed. We owe them just over £4m for the remainder of their contracts. £4m, that's just sick tbh. We're playing 3rd div football and only one of these contracts goes beyond 2009. Whichever twat it was which offered all those contracts needs shooting ![]() ![]() . Yet that same twat was hoping to take Bournemouth over. The sooner the FA gain some bollocks and ban these cnuts from our game the better it will be. |

| i cannot believe how this season is turning out ![]() platini will actually look at giving us a wildcard entry into europe if we were to get past pompey (cant see it) - he really, really, really hates the english doesnt he? ![]() ![]() ![]() seriously though, perhaps only gazza here would understand where i'm coming from when i say "..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ......![]() ![]() ![]() "

| cup final in your city for 4 years & you get there when its played down in london still, you did play us at the Millenium which was just like a cup final, & you won the trophy seriously, the whole of England will be cheering on Portsmouth, so GL but i think that support might just nick it for the south coast team well done for getting there & you could still sneak in the play offs

- we played the millenium and it was too easy ![]() not sure that the whole of england supporting pompey will get them through though - there will be a very vocal cardiff following in the ground on the day and we do like being underdogs... was watching ssn earlier and they said that the ticket allocation for last year was around 25,000 tickets each for man utd and chelsea (i think it was) due to entertainment packages and tickets being given out all over the place - now, if that remains the same, then there will be less cardiff (and presumably pompey) fanse in the ground respectively than was at the semi final? surely to fcuk that cannot be right (i mean morally rather than correct)? ![]()

cardiff, swansea, wrexham and the others. should be made to make a choice. you either be a welsh club and play in the welsh prem, and the welsh cups with its benefits(europe). or an english club, and sever all ties with wales. you should be made to choose. just to back me up. Quote:
a guest team, shows the fa's opinion of welsh clubs over the years dont it?. it's disgraceful, swansea and cardiff, lapping it up.while the welsh premier and welsh national team, goin nowhere quickly

| ali, the ticket allocation has always been that way. Its due to all the sponsors having the tickets plus also the FA give 1 ticket to every FA club in the country, which is probably about 5000 tickets that end up in end of season raffles etc

| Im pretty sure cardiff are of the view that they have chosen to be an english club. Why exactly will the whole of england be cheering pompey on, I know plenty of people (a mix of man utd fans and plymouth fans and possibly WBA fans and Preston fans) who most definately dont want pompey to win it, for the sheer fact that they have been out-played in every game and won by 1 goal. People can try and make it an england vs wales thing but it isnt. More importantly its a big **** you to the people who have said the championship is exceedingly weak this year a la Lawrenson, weaker than when reading ran away with it?? ![]() To me (a closet/fake cardiff fan who wouldnt even dream of trying to get a ticket) it is a league vs premiership thing. People say every year how the cup is great because of its upsets and then people get bored and stop watching it when the overpaid overgroomed tarts get outplayed and knocked out RANT over |

| Made up for Cardiff and another good boost for Welsh sport as a whole. Even our u-21's are going well these days, thats never happened in my lifetime and even El Tosh seems to be getting some decent efforts out of the seniors, must be a due a fallout with someone soon. Watched the game and I thought Cardiff took a back foot when they took the lead, could easily of paid the ultimate price by letting Barnsley back into it. Hopefully Swansea can go up too and we can have some nice friendly battles next season on the pitch! As for Wrexham, the less said the better. ![]()

I'm pleased for Dave Jones, I thought he got shat on from a height by Southampton over the child abuse case and managed to come out of the whole thing with dignity. I also don't buy into this lovable old 'arry stuff.

the fa have also admitted that their current rules havent been updated in quite some time and date back to when cardiff etc could qualify for europe through the welsh cup. cardiff HAVE chosen to sever links with welsh football, and I'm in agreement - joining the welsh league would end the club functioning in a progressive way. The entry into the BBC's invitational trophy is a prime example of how little most Cardiff fans think of Welsh club football (which bar a few clubs will never be more than pub football). they also have these examples backing them up Quote:
all the talk of 'they' cant represent 'us' is a nationalistic joke - normally used by the same people who cheer on their foreign players when their own team gets into Europe ![]() you wouldnt happen to be from swansea would you? ![]() have to admit that in an ideal world, i'd love to see cardiff, jacks, wrexham etc all playing in a successful Welsh league, but it'll be a long, long time before that happens and thats IF that happens.

Know where you are coming from mate, still a dis-belief feeling ? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 thing, we went up against the might of Man UTD and tbh we were never going to win ![]() ![]() .I really think you have a good chance here (if you can take your chances better than at the weekend) ![]() It's going to be different not seeing any of the "big" name teams in the final, ![]() for you bud ![]()

tbh, i'm not sure that the "you've got a chance" aspect will work in our favour - vast underdogs, but given the cup this year, who knows? ![]() cant believe I'm gonna have to find a crappy french pub to see it in - why didnt i check the final date when i booked the holiday in case the city made it? ![]()

if cardiff, swansea, wrexham and others, want to play and be recognised as a english team, then they should play their home games outside wales. it's disgusting, "welsh" sides, who want to be english, they disgust me to the pit of my stomach. that's the exact same reason why welsh rugby, will die a death sooner or later. the magners league, no relegation and no promotion, no room for growth. and dont give me, but they won the grand slam, its just papering over cracks mate. i can see us disagreeing without compromise here mate ![]() can you state wholeheartedly that the big clubs that brings players through the academies/youth set ups would create the same talent playing against port talbot and bangor as they currently do playing against liverpool and man utd? these are some of the players that then represent Wales and are becoming bigger in numbers thanks to cardiff's academy and swansea's set up. what gets overlooked is that there was no welsh league when cardiff etc joined the english league over a century ago and i see no reason why we should be hauled back over the bridge simply because we are being successful and welsh league football isnt (although improving, is still simply a pub football league, imo) there is nothing in wanting my team to be english - i want my team to progress and play the best week in week out. cant comment about the rugby as i really dont follow it enough. i can understand why you dont see my wish for an ideal state of welsh football being secluded and successful, but i genuinely cannot see it happening. Barry Town had a good support (relatively) and had a few good games in europe but financially could not survive - it'd turn my stomach to see cardiff throw away everything they have achieved simply to get to europe to play kazhakstans finest and go out first round just as most clubs are starting pre-season training. i like the welsh league and support the welsh league - but i want my team playing the best they can to help make us be the best we can be.

You remind me of Ed Norton in american history X, when hes sitting round the dinner table with his family.I want cardiff to do well, i couldnt give a toss whether its in england, france, spain etc. I think you have got some real anti-english views going on in your head, let me guess "Any Welshman who doesnt hate all english people with a passion is a traitor" ive met people like that before, i just hope you aint one of them.

It's good enough for celtic and rangers mate, to be in their own countries league, regardless if they walk away with it every year. do you know what i would love to see this year, cardiff will be in europe, regardless if they win it or not, cos portsmouth will finish 6th and qualify anyway. so cardiff will qualify for uefa cup (if my memory is right) my wish for 2008/09 season is the welsh prem's representatives ( Bangor / TNS) play Cardiff and beat them. That would make my season.
