Ha ha.........being lucky or unlucky doesn't count, it's the name on the trophy that matters.

Let's hope do live up to their so called potential...........and not pass the blame onto bad luck!

Win the World Cup? You're having a laff - Denmark won't even be there and this looks like it will be embarrasing.....

Kaka, Ronaldinho, Adriano - theres the key to the world cup,if they perform it goes to Brazil, if they dont, there are 8-9 teams that could sneak it and take it.

Lets face it if Liverpool can win the CL and Greece can win the euro anyone should be able to get enough luck to come close.

Heart says yes, head says no. Why? because we never win anything of note. It's England's punishment for ruling the world for 300 years.

Well the best thing that can be said about tonight is that at least it wasnt a qualifier!

Surely James can never play for England again? How many goals has he cost us recently?? The first goal tonight was hardly a one off was it?

I'd love to, but it wouldn't work these days. They've got the nuclear bomb and a billion people, we can't fight with guns against sticks anymore

Everyone criticised Fergie when he sold Beckham (including me!) but he was right........he hasn't been the same player since

That's a bit sweeping. I always agreed with Cloughie, Beckham's a one trick pony without a trick.
