Hey Paul, you told me England never do well in friendlies........what about the Qualifiers?

England have no chance - they will get to the quarter-finals at best.

Even the Irish look better than England

England are as always over-hyped by the red-top "news"papers and believed by gullible half-wits who can't think for themselves. Because you eat drink and sleep the Premiership you are led to believe that Terry, Gerrard, Beckham, Rooney et al are all world class quality players who can beat anybody. They are not.
The other, more glaring observation, is that it is a team game, and teams do better than mis-placed individuals. Sven will not drop Beckham and this could be England's downfall. The 7/2 offered by Ladbrokes however (for England to qualify), should be hoovered up, as you are getting 2 chances 2 collect, one if they win their last 2 games, and two, if they don't - a gamble on hopefully meeting a Switzerland, or the like, and avoiding Spain or the Czechs. Still though, bad and all as they are, Poland looked creaky against Austria, so they have defensive gaps. As for England winning the World Cup, forget it. They'll need a lot more than a blind Russian linesman this time round !

I think you'll find that is for England NOT to qualify. 1/6 for them to qualify

must have been looking at our price (Republic)
well all things considered 1/6 to qualify is a horrible price.
you have to win both games, and you surely won't be 1/6 at home to Poland !!!
so just do the single there then.
then wait for the draw. damn, i thought 7/2 was tempting .
i'm off to check those odds again now.
