Not sure about Big Sam tbh, he made Bolton a hard team to beat and I feel we have better players on paper. Another plus is some of Sams signing have been good on such a tight showstring although most of the players were coming to the end of their careers. With a bit of money 11million without Bentleys money (+15mill) then Im sure Sam could get some decent signings but I honestly dont think he can take us further than what Sparky did.

There could be worse approaches than going after Sven, he did after all give us a gentlemans agreement years ago (per-Dalgleish) and I think at club level he's an excellent manager.

Hughes off to Chelsea, barring a miracle and Santa Cruz linked to Utd.

I can see a relegation battle for you boys.

Please let McDonut get the job

This is whats going to happen

Hughes in last minute Chelsea talks, talks break down, City appoint (insert name here) Hughes tells loyal Rovers fans that he's committed to the job of guiding Rovers into Europe. We finish 5th and win the carling cup.
We sign Anelka from Chelsea and this Ghana Essien clone, Bentley fooks off to Liverpool for 17.3 million but doesnt reach the heights he had here, the takeover goes ahead with this Icelandic group that also are something to do with JJB we build the Riverside up, we get 42,000 fans and the year after we win the Uefa cup

Have a nice day

Just out of interest is there anything happening at West Ham or have they all got stuck to the treatment tables, bar Ashton signing a 5 year contract (which we all know is so they can sell him on to a bigger club for a decent whack) and Nobby Solano going, i've barely heard anything.

Apart from a couple of youngsters going, Nobby & Deano are about the only news.

2008/2009 fixture list out tomorrow.

New Blackburn boss Paul Ince has revealed his wish to one day take charge of Internazionale.

Ince was appointed to the Ewood Park hotseat last week after successful stints at Macclesfield and then Milton Keynes Dons.

He has been mentioned as a potential future England manager but he admits he finds himself thinking about Inter more often.
He's at it again!!

Wonder if he'll pose in an Inter shirt before the start of the new season..

Good luck with Incey boys. Hes hardly the new Arsene Wenger though is he. Bentley will be somewhere else come the start of the season. His replacement? Keith Andrews from the MK Dons. 3rd game of the season at our place :P
