As some of you are aware my son is a Liverpool fan.

I would pay a £1,000 to see his little face that happy when Liverpool scored.

Reminded me why I first fell in love with the game seeing him afterwards.

My 11 yr old was jumping around like a lunatic in the front room when Mellor scored Gett1n, well ok then so was i :o I know what you mean regarding your lads joy though.

I've have to tape all of Liverpool's wins for mine, he doesn't get to watch football at his mums.

my first footy memories

mine goes something like this

I remember a packed hawthorns in the year 1968 , standing in the brummie road end for a 3rd round cup replay against colchester because west brom had a lucky equaliser at layer road scored by the king the late jeff astle .

IWAS taken up by my elder brother Graham and west brom went on and won the game 4 -0

The rest is history
