I always remember the 'greatest award winning fans' coming to Manchester when they played Utd and about 400-500 of them dancing outside Marks & Spencers singing 'this is where we planted the bomb' and other distasteful IRA songs....great fans

Police injuries include a broken arm, a dislocated shoulder and cracked ribs. The dog suffered a serious cut to his paw. Fans suffered cuts and at least one was bitten.

The dog clearly gave it out a bit doing some biting, he ends up with a sore paw. These things happen.

The bleating from the celtic fans is expected but still naustiating, they must have been delighted to see the trouble. Pure wet dream for them, another stick to bash the huns with. Not a thought for the nations reputation.

As for the huns, well what do you expect ? Bottom line is there is a group of neds out of the glasgow schemes dropped into sunshine and drinking buckfast. Yeah, they're scum and their behaviour was crap. But no worse than I'd expect. Seen worse in Glasgow or Blackpool. Would Celtci fans have been any different, dunno. Maybe. but for me the point about this thread is the gloating. Thing about the old firm is, they both endorse "the eye for an eye" school of thought, been at it for so long they're both blind.

Diminishes them both, nothing good or bad done by either team is viewed in isolation, it's mutally destructive, yet it feeds them as well. All a bit sick

Notice this hasn't turned into the wild scots bashing started by the orginal poster, perhaps the CL final in Moscow next week is playing on their mind and don't want it casted back then

Its interesting actually, what kind of policing will we see in Russia next week if it all kicked off again (imo very very likely). Would they just mow them down with SMGs or do they have no real power/weapons like our police?

The news has also shown Rangers fans laying shirts and scarves at Celtic in memory of Burns, I suppose they are all scumbags too??? Not much mentioned of it here, just typical slagging of Rangers by the Celtic boys from the playground.

I can't see the fans being "brave" enough to start anything in Moscow. Their Police Force will plan for it with millitary precision.

I don't watch much football anymore, I've fallen out of love with the game but I'm looking forward to Euro2008.

Incidents like this just remind me though of the chav cnuts who's lives revolve around the game, it's like a religion to them. But we all know that people act manically in the name of religion.

I remember when I was in Germany working in 1999 and Scotland played Germany at the Weserstadion, and the fans were praised for their good behaviour.

Probably the reason being though was that they won 1-0.

Nothing to do with it, Alex doesn't like the word Hun, I have no problem with it, he's entitled to his opinion, I'm entitled to mine, same as everyone else. It's a forum, we debate. He's entitled to disagree with you and object. He didn't bring out his mod stick and edit posts or ban people. Just debate.
