They are load of jokers at uefa and fifa, its fact. Look whats happened in Italy, poland and turkey alone in the last few years. Its an absolute disgrace how we are treated. Can you imagine if United and arsenal have been put in the div 1 because of corruption, if chelsea fans had thrown a bomb at a bloody coppers face and killed them, every side up and down the league was racist to the degree polish fans are.

I would like to take this time to say that I think Manchester council TOTALLY underestinated the number of Gers fans there. The state of the city centre was a disgrace aswell, no bins anywhere, so rubbish all over the place...

I HATE the fact that a tiny minority of 'fans' have let Rangers FC down. I can see us getting dragged over the coals for this, but I guess it was always going to happen with 200,000 invading a city.

The atmosphere in the stadium was excellent, a majority of Gers fans stayed and applauded the Zenit team getting their medals, and the Zenit squad even gave us a guard of honour. Their fans were quality, had some cracking chants going.

Saying that, I saw at least 10 Zenit fans fighting with each other too, and they all got lifted... Where is that in the newspaper reports...? This happened right outside Eastland about an hour before the match.

The thing that has pissed me off the most about this is the fcuking Celtic fans jumping on the media bandwagon... The greatest fans in the world... I suppose they would have bought about 2,000,000 and not had a single arrest, packed up all their rubbish to take home and went in for an early night.... Bollocks, don't give me that shit. It is a simple matter of percentages... In a group of 200,000, no matter if you are a Celtic/Rangers/Man Utd/Newcastle fan, you will ALWAYS get a small minority of idiots desperate for a scrap.

All in all, I had a cracking evening, the result was dissapointing, but my team did me proud.

Don't bother trying to pull this post apart any Celtic fans out there, as you won't get a response.

Im presuming this is the same minority of 200-400 animals that are chasing 6 police officers down the road...? get a grip, Your club has a major problem, time you and some others admitted it and tried to deal with it.

Celtic took over 80,000 fans to Seville in 2003 and not one arrest was recorded, and we lost that game in even worse circumstances than yours.

Am sick to the back teeth of people on here trying to get Rangers off the hook by mentioning Celtics idiotic 'fans' signing IRA songs and the like, here we are, RANGERS fans have been acting like animals and Celtic fans are getting criticised, un-bloody-believable, should rename this part of the forum, 'we are the people' because most of you people seem to be on the same band wagon.

I think that the best insult to how the 'bad apples' reacted last night would have been one of indifference. Unfortunately its this love of the hatred that festers between the two clubs that will always be prevalent and as sad as it is that those fans behaved the way they did, the comments from opposing fans have, by and large seemed hysterical and don't do you any favours in my eyes.

I couldn't care less that I don't understand the rivalry of Celtic and Rangers and have no interest in changing that by going over prehistoric biases and prejudices.

As regards the statement that they aren't Scottish (or along similar lines), when the fans of English clubs have been in trouble like this and our response has been that, "they aren't real fans" or "don't tar us all with the same brush" those comments have been gleefully ignored. On that basis I would suggest that Rangers' shame is also Scotlands' shame.

Seriously doubt that mate, would double check your sources. Knowing what certain quarters of the media are like in this country, some would have jumped all over this story if it were true. As far as I'm aware there wasnt a single arrest in Seville

We are all good eggs in England scotty. Celtic and Rangers are extremely irritating for a number of reasons full stop, a bit like wart on the end of your willy.

Besides that, because of a few backward scottish throw backs United wont have screens in the city centre. Thats not right.

Also, why were there only about literally 6 coppers.

Yeah shoulda been far more coppers on-call, that was just a joke, and whatever happened to tear gas!!?? that woulda stopped the scum (not all rangers fans, just the troublemakers!!) from causing too much damage!!

I was just settling down to watch the football when the picture went on the TV, I'm quite good at repairing things so I chucked a couple of bottles at it, but to my astonishment the picture didnt return, well I kicked up a right fuss & the owner of the house where I'm a guest came in to try & fix it so I chucked a couple of bottles at him because I do like to help out whenever I can. Then you would not believe what happened next, he picked up a stick & hit me with it just as his son ran in & let his dog bite me The cheeky B@stads I wont be going there again, call themselves hosts huh.
