Default Ashley Cole - Liability!

This boy is starting to really get on my tits!

Did anyone see that nonchalant, I'm a spice boy earning £50k a week, backpass lob?

That could have lead to a possibly disastrous 2-2 draw and that's unforgivable.

Capello should drop the cnut for 3 games and tell everyone in England why he's been dropped too.

Ashley, you're a total cnut.

Cole is a Pr!ck and giving that goal away like that was unforgivable ....

but.....

The England fans booing his every touch after that, when we are only 1 goal up and scrapping for world cup points? Massively out of order IMO, and I think a lot of fans in the ground must have agreed by eventually drowning out the boos with cheers every time he touched the ball - he didn't deserve cheers, but the boos were definitely not right!!

As you are all aware by now, I am not exactly Cole's biggest fan but the English National side probably have the worst fans in the world. Seriously. It's really embarrassing and you can see Capello's getting pissed off by it.

Never liked him and never will.

People were just waiting for an error so we could give him a good booing.........the reason he is really getting booed is because he's an arrogant, cheating greedy cnut (not to mention one of the over-rated players in the world)

Tosser.

I know he's not exactly Stuart Pearce in the popularity stakes and I pretty much agree with your description of him Matt, but what good does it do? Everyone in that stadium wants us to be at the World Cup in 2010 yet by booing your own players, whether they be tosspots or not, is making it less likely. You can see the players are treading on eggshells when they play at Wembley because they are terrified of cocking up and the crowd turning against the team.

But he's an arrogant, cheating greedy cnut who is wearing the white shirt of England in a vital World Cup qualifier - it's not the time for grievances to be aired against him.....

I'm not disagreeing with either of you that its not good what's happening.

But it does happen and its always going to........this is a man who had the audacity to write a line to the world that said "£45,000 a week, what an insult, I felt like being sick"

Wearing the white shirt of England or not it makes it very very hard for me and any others to give people like that any support.

Can't agree with that. It's exactly the time. It's a cliche but fans pay a lot of money to watch him, they've got every right to air their grievance. He's the epitomy of everything that's wrong with the modern footballer and the embodiment of the dislocation between the fans and players.

So if the fans get to him, get under his skin (as is clearly the objective) and he loses his head, does something like Beckham against Argentina, but cole gives away a penalty and gets sent off .... they score the penalty to equalise and then against our 10 men snatch a winner and we lose 3-2. Cole is slaughtered in the press and never plays for England again. This result shatters team confidence and England fail to qualify for South Africa by a country mile.

Are the fans happy? They've achieved their objective - Cole has been brought down (and in the process the England team is brought down) - but it seems the goals of the country are secondary to the right to express what people think of Cole?

Yeah, wait til the final whistle goes, then run on the pitch and twat him one!!!!!!

"Oi Cashley NOOOOOOOOOOO, you are the embodiment of the dislocation between fan and player (PaulM03; PuntersLounge Football & Sports Banter Forum; 2008), and for that you deserve this twatting!"

Now I'd gladly pay £100 a ticket to watch that!

Hold on a minute, he fcuked up good and proper before anyone booed him. I think the fans would have preferred him not to try a pass like that and have no opportunity to boo.

I run a U12's team and the first thing i told them NEVER, NEVER pass the ball blind or across your 18 yard box.... if one of them had done that they would hang their head in shame

Fcuking greedy OVERPAID T**T

No offence Gaf, but that's a bit dramatic. How would Ashley Cole getting slaughtered, shatter the confidence of the england team?
