Xbox 360 game reviews/ Playing now ?

Started playing COD4 last night, awesome

Found the game play very similar to Rainbow6Vegas which I also loved.

Very smooth gameplay and the graphics are stunning, will finish it over next couple of days and will then go online with it

I also bought Assasins but have not got that out the box yet, will do a proper write up on that when playing it

If anyone not yet got COD4 for the 360 I was in a game store today and they are selling it for £24.99 untill the weekend

Well I was going to write a review of Assasins Creed but have only played 10 minutes so far, good graphics but LOTS of controls. The reason I've only played 10 mins ?







Friggin COD4 online.




FCUKING AWESOME

Team deathmatches,capture the flag etc.

Some big maps where you can sneak around and snipe etc and some tiny maps where with 12 of you playing is just complete chaos

Awesome on line, cant stay off it.

Just downloaded the new Burnout Paradise

ive been impressed with all the Burnouts TBH and this looks the dogs bollox of smashand crashand race.....

graphics 10/10
Sound 10/10
gameplay 9/10

in fact scrub that , on a HD TV this game will look fooking magic, even on my 32"CRT it looks top notch.....

One thing I'm finding with COD4 so far is that it's quite hard to get a game with your mates . You CAN set up a private game but then you dont receive ranking points

The other way is for all the mates to meet in 1 person's lobby and go into a game from there but then you are all on the same side, I wanna kill my buddies !!!!!!!!

Is there another way ?

yeah not sure why when u invite someone to a game they dont come right in the match.

When I accepted Gazza whilst playing COD4 I thought he'd come inthe the battle that I was in, maybe not that round but at least in the next round.

I'll ring our Bro-in-law up and ask him how to sort it.

I like the way they have made it more GTA-esque where if you dont want to play the levels/missions/races you can just drive round causing mayhem.

well I just invited to a game and it cancelled my current game and took me straight into the new game with the lad who invited me.

What might have happened last night Gaz was the game might have been full and thats why when I accepted your invite I didnt come onto your game.

Strange I thought I'd saved your ass a few times - though do confess I'm not very good at this Think I had 4 kills and 14 deaths (or something like that!!)

Remember Doom? Ultra realistic! Incredibly smooth! Ground Breaking! Stunning game, hard to see how it could be improved on really - just gave the retro demo a go on XBox 360 - jeeeez it's crap - how did we ever think it was good? Will COD4 be the same in 10 years?

yeah I had a go on that a few days ago, like you I spent ages on it when I owned my playstation 1.
I think I bought it around xmas time and spent all 2 weeks on it over the holidays.

as you say mind blowing graphics, real life looking blood and gore and of course The BFG. Big Fookin Gun

cant see games getting better than that

well Ive been playing this now for a couple of days and Im slowly unlocking the items.

Ive got to say this is the best game ive ever played on-line EVER.

I was a massive Counter-strike player but this is miles better.

Its worth the £30-£35 just for the online action.
