Windows file protection - The Punters Lounge

Help please avg picked up a nasty and ended up with files being replaced by unrecognised versions.

Simple solution insert your windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 CD now.

Fine if you can bloody find it

must of lost it when moving house

Any solutions guys much appreciated

What are the files ? It might be just a couple of DLL's ?

How about installing Service Pack 3 ?

Service pack 3 did the job
