| Re: Picture help needed If you check the properties of a pic online by right clicking it you can see the Address(URL) just copy and paste that into the image button. Photobucket.com gives you the URL and even loads it into your clipboard so you can paste it online.

| Re: Picture help needed Thanks for your help carl I'm still being completely stupid, on new posts you can see I'm trying to show a pic of my daughter parachuting but obviously not doing it right, if I try and select the address it disapears.

| Re: Picture help needed is your pic online ie your not rying to upload it straight from your PC onto here. all you do it right click the pic and select properties next the the Address (URL) is the web address of it. this is your address of your avatar http://www.punterslounge.com/forum/c...tar14599_1.gif now click this and paste in the web address and click ok then your pic will appear.

| Re: Picture help needed might as well do a new post that explains it properly. Right, To post a pic on PL you need to find the URL Web Address of the pic. This can be from a website or an Image Hosting site such as Imageshack or Photobucket.com. *NB You can't just upload it from your computer to PL.....but you can for your Avatar but thats another post. So lets find the URL. Find a pic and Right click on it.  Then click properties and find the URL  Copy the URL Web Address  come back to PL and your post and click this icon and paste your URL into the pop-up box.I use Photobucket which can be easier to use all you do is upload your pic and then just copy and paste the [img]www.ffffffff[/img] code into your post.

If you need a free and lightweight software for image editing and photo manipulation (alternative to Photoshop) then try: -Paint.Net http://www.getpaint.net/index2.html or -Gimp http://www.gimp.org/ 2. Tired of Acrobat Reader beeing really slow when opening your PDFs? Then try much faster freeware: -Foxit Reader http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php 3. If you need to create PDF from any application then use: -PrimoPDF http://www.primopdf.com/ 4. For FTP uploads (and downloads) try: -Smart FTP (they even have x64 version) http://www.smartftp.com/ 5. And my favorite for playing video files of all kinds is KMPlayer. It has all the codecs built in, and you even don't have to install it. Just copy the files in any folder and when you don't need it any more, just delete the files. Works great. http://www.kmplayer.com/forums/index.php |
