| Right really looking for an Excel guru here as it is confusing and difficult enough to explain. I have the following spreadsheet from my Glory Hunt thread (see sig)
DAY is in Cell A1 and if anyone needs I can send them a copy of the spreadsheet. See next post for what I want to do. ![]() | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| In column H (Profit), I have the formula: =IF(C3="Back",((B3*E3-B3)*0.95),(B3*0.95)) This is taking into account wether C3 says BACK or LAY. I want to add into that formula, somehow, something that says IF Cell F3 = "WON", then do formula above IF Cell F3 = "LOSE", then do -(B3) IF Cell F3 = "CURRENT", then do -(B3) Basically I want another if statement saying if F3 = WON, do this. Otherwise, do this. However, I cant work out how to incorporate it into the other forumla. Did it a while ago but cant remember how I managed. Secondly, I would like to do a lookup to give me my daily profit and my current liability. I dont have much of a clue about lookups so dont know if this is even possible. Many Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated. Stewart. ![]() |

| For the first one.... This does the trick I think - =IF(F3="WON",IF(C3="Back",((B3*E3-B3)*0.95),(B3*0.95)),-B3) This checks whether "WON" is there or not - if you want it more specific to actually check for "LOSE" and "CURRENT" we need to add a bit, but for the moment, I assume you dont need to do that.... |
