| Finally got most of my music on to my pc, so now I need some decent-ish speakers to go with. I've currently got the standard ones that came with my pc (creative MMS30) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Creative-Speak...QQcmdZViewItem I don't really want to spend much more than £30 (can I get a decent set for around that?) and I want some speakers that can get up to a decent volume, but I haven't really got a clue what I should be looking for .What determines how loud the speakers go? The output in Watts? I've had a little look on dabs. http://www.dabs.com/productlist.aspx...ffset=0#Paging The Logitech X-230 2.1 Speakers look OK, not sure if they would go loud enough though. Any help would be appreciated. ![]()

| Chala, last year Carl posted that he had bought some 5.1 surround sound speakers from Asda for about £30. On his recommendation we have bought 2 lots, one as a present for my brother and one set for the kids upstairs. They're blooming brilliant and plenty loud enough. We're thinking about buying another set for ourselves. Asda have changed the styling and now charge £40 but still great value for money imo. ![]()
