Default Sky tv on another tv

i have sky at home on tv but would like to be able to watch it
on another tv in another part of the house but without
going to all the trouble of having wires run from one tv to another.

Can you do it without wires.
similar to accessing the internet by wireless connection ?
don't know anything about this
just wondered if it could be done.
and if it can
then how

cheers guys

We have a digi-sender mate and it does the trick

The one niggle with it though is that it interferes with anyone on a wireless connection on their PC at the same time.

Have you tried changing the channel on one or both devices? There should be no reason to put up with interference.....

Yes mate - we have tried all of the channels, we have sky multi-room thats goes to the kids room but use a digisender for our tv in the bedroom, but we do have 2 wireless pcs - it is normal for both of these connections not to work when the digisender is switched on.

Pocket Lady

thanks for your help

so am i right in saying that
apart from the problem with interference with wireless pc's
digi sender is the best option ?

better than the Wireless Scart AV Sender

I'd be aware if you have wireless broadband in the house, it will basically interfere so badly you can't have both on at the same time

With most you are talking a fair distance. Unless your house is a mansion, it won't be a concern.

How difficult is it to throw a single co-ax cable to where you want the other viewing? If there is a route that you can throw a cable in then thats the best way to do it, you get a better picture at the end of the line.

Put this into a few houses, and some are very simple to do it in. If its possible to find a way to do that, its your best option.

I can only speak from experience - we haven't tried any others so I couldn't comment on the scart or another system.

I think from memory they can send 25m through walls.

Digisender do make the scart sets - but we have a Digisender X1 set and have had it for about 4 - 5 years.
