Satellite Navigation Systems - The Punters Lounge

Anyone got a decent one that you can recommend having? Preferably something less than £200?

I'm looking at the likes of Garmin, Navman and TomTom over at Amazon and can't really decide on one.

I bought the My Guide 3100 from Halfords just before Christmas.

For less than £100 its a cracking piece. About 10 days ago I finally looked into 'cracking it' and now I have 3 different types of sat nav software running on it, as well as some games and a media player.

The mapping technology is the same as that used by Tom Tom, but the maps are very clear and the software interface is very easy to navigate with.

There's a huge thread on the ebuyer forum about it and you can tell that, for less than £100 its a good one.

I did the same with the Medion Satnav i got from Aldi a few years ago (its really a Mio PDA)

I put TomTom on it with the speed cams etc and tried different voice directions like Ozzy Osbourne

Ive got Joanna Lumley telling me which way to go at the moment

That sounds like a cracking price though Valiant
