Router problem - The Punters Lounge

Hi all,
I would like to download more music off the net but Limewire will not let me saying that my computer is behind a Router..... How would i get around this problem and load music ?

I used a router and no probs with Limewire except the odd Trojan or corrupt file...

How many Firewalls have you got operating ??

Are they configured properly ??

Bit techy but solves the problem...

So i suppose you actually are using a router.... You may need to look at "port forwarding".

Select your router on this page:
http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm

and then on the next page select limewire (or whatever program you are using) and it will give you a guide to follow along with screenshots etc.

Not sure if it will help with limewire, but it solves heaps of peoples problems with torrents

Put it infront of the router

lift computer and place infront of router OR lift router and place behind computer
