Lemonjon - got your invite on COD4, accepted it although I was in a team deathmatch game and then it threw me out and said server full, got thrown out of both games and back to the main menu, not sure what happened there. Just logged off it now to watch Prison Break, might be online about 11pm or if not then I should be tomorrow evening. I tried to invite you and moface to a game without success.
I'm still useless, keep getting killed, don't know the maps, any good hiding places or anything. Once again i'm shooting at someone, they hit me once and i'm dead. Thank fcuk they don't still do national service, i'd be pushing up the daisies by now.

what has happened is jon has went into a game before you accepted his invite and the game is now full which is why you cant get in. whenever the wee box pops up make sure it is an invite to his "party" and not his "game" as most times you wont get into the game.

theres a few good videos on Youtube for hiding places on COD4 just dont tell anyone else.

No probs Yeah thought as much, the servers on COD are complete sh1te and its the only bad part of the game

The lobby aint user friendly either (example of a good lobby is R:FOM) you normally accept then it tells u the server is full. (Mal explained why this happens)

In response to geting killed, what weapons you using?

Also this shooting someone then getting hit once and dead thing:

1st - Is it Lag (suffered a few awful lag games last night, firing at someone who then disappeared and reappeared behind me )

2nd - if you have perks, On perk 2 pick Stopping power, this increases damage, find a weapon with high damage already also use the deap bullet one on perk 3, this will let fire through walls

3rd - On the other hand you could pick Juggernaugt in perk 2, this will increase your health


My advice (for whats it worth) is, choose either the M16 (good damage) or the Saw (am assuming ur rank is low and u aint got many weapons unlocked) , pick stopping power as perk 2, dont get too close to enemy as the M16 and Saw are better at distance and pick ur shots, dont fire till you have a clear shot, as you'll show up on the radar,

If your playing Vacant, or Wet Work use the MP5 (Good Damage for up close fighting)

Also aim high (go for the chest and head, when i started i kept hitting peoples knees and legs, then they would fire back and am dead.

Once you start getting better weapons u'll start to become a killing machine

Bored in work so i looked a few of these up

Holy feck, some of the gliches r insane

I like the one were they jump on each others heads to get on to roofs

Buuuuttttt looks abit of effort for minimal gain, by the time u feck about getting there i could have 10 kills, also most leave u open to an easy kill, although some r fecken nasty and you could rack up a shit load of kills.

Big Gaz - I noticed you were on fifa08 so put mine on but how the fcuk do you arrange a game against one of your online friends, I went into all the lounges and couldn't find you, wasn't sure if you can arrange a match or not
Had a quick spin on COD4 earlier, when I walk around I keep getting picked off and shot, when I was running round like a headless chicken I was running into people by accident and blasting them in the head. If you are sniper and laid in grass for example I didn't think you could be seen but some fcuker just stood at the side of me and shot me in the head while I was lying down. Can you keep yourself off the radar? I noticed some people seem to find good hiding places and I never spot them until I get shot.

Thinking about getting a console, the pc was built for gaming, but in 2 years has now started to struggle, have got a wii for the kids but need a console for me.

to be honest ronnie it seems to be the playstation most are playing it on. one thing to consider is to go online with the xbox you have to pay a suscription but with the ps3 it is free. hope that helps.

What do u mean, do you mean PLers or wha? If its Plers i think its about the same, Carl, GAF and a few others r X-Box and about 4 or 5 r PS3 if your talking in general then it would X Box cause its been around alot longer as the PSN is new, but there r over a million (looked at leaderboards) people on PS3 COD.

It depends what you want, there r many arguements about which best

X Box - Better choice of games, bigger and better online, but break easy and you have to pay for the Internet, also not a Blue Ray player and the HD DVD is going outta business.

PS3 - Designed with the next 10 years in mind, free Internet, less than 3% failure rate (33% Xbox) Good games coming this year and Blue Ray player, but online in earlier stages and limited games at the mo.
