Question PS2 or XBOX

Help Please

Thinking of buying a games console but want to know which is the best and your reccomendations please.

Would it be an XBOX or PS2. I also heard a rumour that there will be a PS3 soon is this true?

I've got Ps2 great, better range of games, although they can load slow sometimes.
heard that xbox games were shite apart form Halo

The games canny be beaten - pro evo 4 and san andreas need I say more?

I think the ps3 is due next xmas but the ps2 is so cheap atm it doesnt really matter, its worth 100 quid for a years enjoyment

I have both, the XBOX is a better quality machine but the PS2 imo offers better gameplay.

X-box for me
Got two of them one for the lad whos 5 and one for me.
Eldest has got the PS" but i rate the x-box.

no messing around with memory cards etc.

Brother in law is manager of 'Game' shop in town and hes just come back from a game convention in london wheres hes played the new Playstation hand held.
And hes tells me that the new X-Box2 will have no HD, and there is another playstation just around the corner.

Take note: You do need to apply for planning permission to have an X-box in your house and you may need new foundations as well, as its that bloody big!

Thanks all. Still not sure what ill get but leaning towards the PS2 at the mo. However now need to decide if to get the new slimline version. Which is out of stock everywhere or the old version.

fcuk it mate get the cheapest one - everyone will be after the ps3 in a years time so stuff spending money on something thats going out of date soonish
