Please help about edit box - The Punters Lounge

I hope someone can help.
I have recently been getting the edit box on my posts
is it something I have done wrong?
and what can I do to correct this.

Its just a button that allows you to edit a post if you have mis-spelt or feel it needs to be changed.....It will show with a message saying "last edited by...." If you do use the option

We all get one on our posts!

At least, I hope this is the problem!!!
