Got myself a cheap PSP on Friday so i could do the Remote play that comes with the PS3 and PSP. First day back in work and i tried it out, works like a charm.

I can now see my HD and PS3 from the office, I can play certain PSN games from the PS3 on my PSP in the office, I can listen to my music that is stored on my external HD connected to the PS3. So no more shite radio.

U can turn the PS3 on and off anywhere you have a wireless interent connection, you just need to set up the remote play funtion on the PS3.

got myself a copy of GT 5 prolouge. have to say it looks stunning. the detailing is excellent. online is a good laugh as well.gets u a race quick enough and watching the others racers get pushed sideways onto the grass and into walls is a piss. thing is if you cause an accident you get a time penalty which means you have to drive at 30mph for about 5 secs. so if you have a spare 20 quid i would recommend it.

Three new Burnout modes unveiled

Criterion has revealed three new modes for Burnout Paradise that'll be released as part of the forthcoming "Cagney" update.

First up is Online Stunt Run - a maximum of eight players compete for the highest score within a two minute time limit. In Online Marked Man, one player picked at random must reach their target without getting hit.

The third mode is Online Road Rage, where one team tries to reach checkpoints while the other gets on with the takedowns. For full details on all the new modes, visit Criterion's website.

"This is just the start - we aim to bring you many new Freeburn game modes covering different themes and play styles," says Criterion.

"Over the next 12 months, we're going to transform the Burnout Paradise you know and love into the Burnout Paradise you only ever dreamed of!" The one with a restart option?

There's no word on when the Cagney update will be released yet. Bogart, however, which will feature various "gameplay experience enhancements", is out on April 24th.

Mercenaries 2 demo, DLC planned

Pandemic Studios plans to release a Mercenaries 2 demo and will also support the openworld action game with downloadable content.

"I'm not sure of dates or anything like that but yes, we want to do a demo," Cameron Brown, Pandemic's creative director, told Eurogamer.

What's more, "There has been a lot of effort and energy put into downloadable content. We have it up and running on the consoles where you can trigger it and do it.

"We're definitely playing with it and it's definitely something we see as an enormous opportunity," he said.

Mercenaries 2: World in Flames is due out on PS3, 360, PS2 and PC on 5th September, and you can read more about how it's taking shape in our exclusive interview.

Is there anywhere I can buy a guide to Fifa08 or do I just accept the fact that I'm shite on it? I had a look at game history, I'm level 1 and average opponent is level 12, that could explain why I keep getting my ass kicked. I played someone a few weeks back who was far superior, 0-0 at half time and then they just took the piss and knocked 7 past me in the 2nd half, shooting and scoring at will. It was like an exhibiton for them. I just couldn't keep hold of the ball, they just took it off me, went up the other end and scored. I can't seem to judge the pace right and need some help on it, either that or I'm trading the thing in, frustrates the hell out of me.

I downloaded the Formula 1 demo yesterday very very impressive.

The camera angles are spot on and when you change the weather to heavy rain, jesus its like the tv is under water


I like the fact that if you have damage on the setup to 'on' and when your like me shite at it and hit awall your wheel comes off thats it race over learn to drive more carefully

very very impressed by it.

I must admit ive only won 1 game online since I bought it for the 360. Little shits keep beating me inthe last few mins by 1 or 2 goals.

I tend to stick with the manager mode or the 'be a pro' mode where you are just 1 player. Your constantly watching for the offside and timing your runs etc , pretty good but online yeah Im shite too, I guess its like anything else tho the more you play the better you get.

Bikes and planes for Burnout Paradise

Criterion has just revealed that motorbikes are on their way to Burnout Paradise in the upcoming "Davis" update.

The developer aired the news in its latest podcast where it showed the first footage of the two-wheelers and uncovered a day and night cycle to go with it.

Criterion expects the "Davis" update to be available in late July.
We were also shown footage of a biplane flying around Paradise City, which is something Criterion "might put in this year".

The chatty developers revealed that the "Cagney" update will be with us in late June, too.

Inside this will be roughly 35 fixes asked for by the community, as well as a Hunter Olympus SUV and some sort of fancy online calendar to keep you updated with all the online events.

These events should be happening every weekend, and some server-side wizardry means the team can change things with no more than a day's notice. The team has plans to dish out unique car-prizes to people sending in very funny emails or winning competitions. And these vehicles will promote plenty of jealousy, apparently.

Criterion said "Cagney" would add around 70 FreeBurn challenges to the mix, and generally be a "massive" update in every way.

"Bogart" is the next update to go live, which will be available tomorrow on PS3, although some 360 owners will have to wait a week for a revised version without frame rate problems.

In this will be more features asked for by the community, as well as user liveries for the first time ever.
Other promises we heard were 1080i implementation, improved SD support, and custom soundtracks.

Criterion reiterated how serious it was about its on-going support for Burnout Paradise, and urged you to keep sending in suggestions.

"We want Criterion to be known as the most friendly development team in the world," said the person holding the camera, which might or might not be Alex Ward.

There are some really cheap games about at the minute for the PS3, Play.com are doing a lot of special offers again and tonight I was in the local Asda and they had Condemned 2 for £25, nearly bought it, seen it at £40 everywhere else, Burnout Paradise was also £25.

I got 2 trade in games other day - Smackdown V Raw 2008 £17.99 and Motorstorm £12.99 from Gamestation, not played the wrestling game yet. Not many trade ins of GTA 4 about so Lemonjon should get a good price if considering trading it.

Although for the past couple of days I've been playing the Battlefield Bad Company demo.
I think I still prefer cod4 at the moment.
The online game is great fun though, as you get to drive round in tanks, helicopters and boats.
I think the demo is available for download today if anyone wants to try it out.
The game is due for release end of June.

Yeah theres Bigmal, Zebedee, Moface, Topnotchbloke, Westy62 and myself. On most nights between 8 - 12 or in mals case 1

I will defo being downloading the Battlefield demo today, I have been following all the reviews on the Interent and they are a mixed bag, but more good than bad . Love the Battlefield series and I hope this is just as good. Its out on the 27th June which is when i will spend my GTA trade in cash on this game.

Carl do u have COD on PS3 cause thats where most of us are most nights, the battlefield demo will get a few hours hours b4 i jump on COD.

I need to play COD as am on Prestege nine (level 41) and wanna get to ten (level 55) so i can finish the fecker. Then if Battlefield dont push my buttons then back to COD for the Golden Guns

Then its Mercs 2 due out end of year.
