Just thought we could make a list of games that are generally available from all good shops and p2p hubs that can be played without a serial or via cracked servers.

Here's some i've found about the place. I'd be interested in 'researching' multiplayer setups for any of the below-

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Americas Army (free game)
Medal of Honor/Breakthrough....... use the built-in Intenret server finder.
Unreal II:XMP

GTA vice is pretty buggy, but still fun on a lan
Wulfram II is an older game, but still great fun (www.wulfram.com)
Soldat is a cheesy 2d shooter type thing, good for a laugh or two (www.soldat.pl)

Go to www.epcgaming.com for cracked server ips also for Call Of Duty and other games supported by the All Seeing Eye (Halo etc)

NOTE: Make sure you have the REAL Steam installed(http://www.steampowered.com)

-How to install-
--First of all, run the cs16full_v7.exe(CS1.6 NonSteam installer) and pick a irectory for it to copy the files to(e.g. CGames\CS)--

--After the installation, run the patchfile(cs16v19.exe for now)--

--Now, open up the cs16_play_on_steam.zip and extract the files to the folder where you installed the NonSteam CS1.6(e.g. CGames\CS)(from now on 'gamefolder')--

--Open the SteamApp.cfg file in your gamefolder(open it with Notepad or something similar)--

--Edit it like this:

NOTE: The password should be between the quation marks. Just copy the above and edit it.


--Now, start Steam. Make sure you have a valid account(you can create one whenever you want)! Go to your Steam folder and copy the file ClientRegistry.blob to your gamefolder.--

You need to be logged in so that you can copy the ClientRegistry.blob file and fake your login.

--Go to your gamefolder and search for the hl.exe. Make a shortcut to it. Right-click the shortcut and select Properties. Paste this: -steam -game cstrike after the path leading to your hl.exe(e.g. "CGames\CS\hl.exe" -steam -game cstrike <--- Make sure that the spaces are correct!)--

--Double-click the shortcut and you should be able to play--

Does anyone here play Enemy Territory? I've been playing it for around 2 years now and for a free game it's bloody brilliant (and very addictive!!!)

Found it here Blade whilst looking for something else. Only 264mb and full speed too. I'll give it a try. Anyone else?

It was going to be an add-on but they couldnt get the Single player part of it finished so they just released the multiplayer as a free standalone game.

There is a few mirrors to it on the link I put in my post. Should be able to get it faster than you mentioned. (hopefully anyway!!)

aye you had to join up (simple sign-up) but the file was wee enough just to use that link i found blade.

Ive just installed it and getting the new patch. Should be online with it in about 5 minutes. kompressaur is the name. If its good i'll push for a PL SQUAD at it as its FREE
