Default Outlook Express Problem

When I click on Outlook Express
the program loads then I get the
Windows error reporting screen
the one which says send error report
or dont send
Outlook Express then closes

It must be something that is conflicting with it.
Could it be SYSTEM MECHANIC PRO 6 ?
i have recently installed this on my pc

has anyone using this had problems with it conflicting
with OUTLOOK EXPRESS.
If it isn't this then i will have to think what else i have installed
recently.

Ive got System Mech and Ive never once had a problem with it.

In fact when the PC seems to be getting a bit slow I just run the programme and restart presto quick as ever again.

If you run SMPro, then it will find and fix any broken links to OE.
I have been running SMPro 6 for a year without a single problem. On the contrary, it has solved hundreds caused by other software.

If still no joy, Google for OE fixes.

As an after thought. SM6 has a firewall and an anti-virus module. If you use SM6's then you should remove any other as they will cause all sorts of conflicts.

Robert, if I run Avast and Zone Alarm AND System Mechanic Pro 6 then I will have conflicts, but if I disavle zone alarm and avast it should work okay?

I have Avast anti-virus
and Comodo Firewall
i didn't install the System Mechanic Pro 6
Firewall or Anti Virus.
I unchecked them when installing.

I have run the Fix Broken Links in SMP6
but it hasn't stopped it happening.
it does not happen all the time thats the
puzzler. I turned off Automatic Protection on
SMP6 it did improve things but didn't stop it altogether
so i have turned that back on now,

I did read on a forum that I should start at the clock
on the start up toolbar and disable the progs. one at
a time to see if that improved things but I haven't done that yet
I guess thats the next step,

Valiant, if anything id disable the systemMech firewall rather than the Zonealarm.

I swear by ZonealarmPro, I have that Ccleaner,Hijack this,Adaware and of course System Mech.
the only thing running in the background is the Zonealarm.
I only use the rest for cleaning up etc probably once a day.

Sorry Ralphie, cant help you mate.

maybe try Hi-jack this and save the log file and paste it up here.
Maybe we can go through it?

SM6 definitely overdoes it ..... it makes things into far bigger issues than there are (to prove its worth I presume) - I have had a few problems - It didn't like MSN Messenger .... It didn't like my Microsoft Office Toolbar ..... so removed them ....... there were other things too.....
