Default Outlook Express

For some reason only known to itself Outlook Express
is now asking for a Loggin.
Does anyone know how i can turn this off

The PC is set up for 5 users
but the Loggin box is only coming up on 4 of them
the other user does not get asked to Loggin
the box where you can tick to get it to ask for
a Loggin isn't ticked.

all users are set to Admin Accounts
it was going ok last night

thanks
ralphie

Is the box unticked for the four user accounts being asked to login?

Beejayville

thanks for your help

just rechecked it mate and it is set up to 5 accounts
4 of them are ok now ?? well weird
the one that isn't is set up as an administrator account

if i click on TOOLS, ACCOUNTS,MAIL,PROPERTIES,SERVERS
the box that says
LOG ON USING SECURE PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION
is unticked

i have clicked on the GENERAL tag and then REMOVED the account
LOGGED OUT OF THE ACCOUNT
BACK IN
back into ACCOUNTS and re entered the details
pop3,smtp,user name,email address etc
remember password i have ticked
the secure password box for loggin is still unticked

but that hasn't made any difference
it still asks for a loggin on that account
puzzled. Can't work out what is causing it

what if i download/install Outlook Express again
over the top of the existing one
think that would put it right ?

or would you delete totally the user account that is
screwed up.
then recreate the account.

This has happened to me when the ISP email servers were playing up. Have a word with them if you can.

I would probably go with the latter because it wouldn't take long to do.

Good luck!
