| Ever since having my new computer Ive only had Microsoft Works on it. Ive decided to get a office mpackage(mainly for Excel) I went to use my bro's copy of Office Pro 2002 but his cd is corrupt and wont install. What Im wondering is what is the best package to get that is available online. Found a load at suprnova.org but dont know which is most use. Like I said, the key feature is to get Excel. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Yet again - OpenOffice.org - this is a free package of all you need from office things, it's open source and FREE. They are also about to release v 2.0 shortly. The parts are not named like by Microsoft, btw, but it's not that fat etc. Only you have to be careful and save files you need to share/send as xls, doc etc files. Importantly (may be also for you) - it can work with PDF files and Flash files as well - comes handy somettimes. |
