| I got Mario Kart today..... all good so far!! Why don't we all put our friend codes up and have a game? I can't think of a reason not to put them on a public forum? Anyone managing to play using the manual drift? Im finding it a tad difficult, guess its better to master the Automatic levels first! |

| Mario Kart has to be the best game I have played in a long time. Online all it lacks is a free for all battle mode, rather than this team bollox they currently have. Its just brutal fun. |

| Just having a break from playing my wii fit, what great fun ![]() I had pre ordered from amazon but they have run out so after a fruitless trip to tescos got 1 of the last 2 in my local currys ![]() The balance board is excellent and so sensitive, on start up you put in some details and you are then given your weight, bmi and wii age. I am 13stone as I expected with a bmi of 23.9 (Ive set a goal of getting this down to 22) but my wii age was a rather poor 47 (im 27). My centre of gravity was quite far to the right which isnt good I will start training hard on the balance games and yoga! Ive played a few of the games and all seem really fun, ski slalom is my favourite so far, leaning from side to side to get through those damn gates. I also liked the jogging, you stick the wii remote in your pocket and jog on the spot. I really think this is a great game which you will keep playing trying to better your scores and beat friends and family whilst getting a bit of excercise. Also as you progress there are loads more games to unlock along the way. Last edited by evilchris; 26-04-2008 at 06:43. |

| Bought Mario Kart on Friday and have been playing it a fair bit over the weekend. Gotta admit its a fantastic game and have loved playing it so far. I was an avid fan of the original SNES game and was worried the new version would not live up to the hype, but it has and its almsot as good as the original. One thing i dont like is the battle mode. What happened to the traditional battle mode where you go one on one with another person? Now its a battle mode with 12 players - 2 x six people teams. Not a huge fan of this concept. |

| Aye, somebody at Nintendo did their homework. PS3 will overtake it eventually though. Thinking of getting a Wii, been thinking about it for ages, it looks brilliant fun.

Beat me at the moment - only had a few goes, highest of 327m so far The slalom's good fun too (38.00 sec on first stage) But admit it if the neighbours see you doing the yoga exercises in your living room through the window you do feel a bit of a twat ![]()

| I'm tempted to buy The Bigs when I get paid. Reviews make some criticisms about it but overall it is meant to be rather good and I'm desperate for a semi good baseball game. Shame it doesn't have a proper season/franchise mode. Anyone else played it at all?? P.S. wallg - Catatonia - International Velvet ![]()

| Just bought Super Smash Bros Brawl Simply Awesome..10/10 It’s impeccably presented, lovingly crafted and absolutely incredible value for money. Admittedly, it’s true that Smash Bros.’s idiosyncratic, somewhat abstract fighting system isn’t for everyone - and it’s chaotic, frenetic approach to the genre can be an instant, insurmountable turn-off for some people. However, invest some time and patience in the game and the rewards are endless. With Brawl, Smash Bros. is still the absolute pinnacle of sitting room multiplayer gaming in the right crowd. It just so happens that, this time around, that achievement is supported by an excellent single-player experience, rectifying one of previous series entries’ major failings. There’s also the not-so-small issue of Brawl’s over-reliance on Nintendo’s back catalogue to put flesh on its superbly crafted bones. Regardless, if you can appreciate the game’s fighting system, Brawl is an undoubtedly brilliant, essential purchase. ![]() ![]() |
