Need a Video/Media Ripper - The Punters Lounge

Can anyone point me in the direction of the best programs to rip Video/audio from the web..not just from the popular sites like youtube/google etc. Preference is for the video format to be in avi/mpeg..all i see is .flv, and the audio to be mp3.

I want to save some of the Bollywood movies i made from this site http://www.grapheine.com/bombaytv/ so i can put them on my phone or a webpage.

you want to save a flash movie ..

know some programs but they´re all shareware.

Flash Saver Gold is a good one. The once freeware I now flash catcher is a plugin for IE. I test it but it´s shite imo.

test it with IE 7 on WinXP SP2

Maybe you have more luck than me but I can´t handle this plugin. Use Firefox and Opera not Internet Explorer...

Well, then you could try this for youtube videos:
1. Download the flv via http://keepvid.com/
2. Convert it with Replay Converter (http://www.applian.com/replay-converter/), which you can download from here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/41009266/lg176.rar
This should work
