MP3 Query?? - The Punters Lounge

Hi guys,

I have got an album on my computer which is in MP3 format. However, the problem is its all in the one file and is 100mg or so and all 14 songs are in the same file.

My question is how to i segregate the songs? I want all 14 songs to be sepperate MP3 files rather than in one big file.

If anyone could give me some advice on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated!

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

This can edit any mp3 file and put it into the bits you want. It also cleans up and enhances the sound etc. Freeware.

It might have been put together with a "Wrapper" type program like this one
http://www.infamus.com/albumwrap/

If it has, you can extract all the tracks with one click of the button.

I've got most of my music on mini disc (sold all my cd's

).

So I'm in the painstakingly slow process of line-in recording all my mini discs to my pc. A great little free program I found though is MP3 Direct Cut. It will allow you to split tracks, join tracks and loads of other little stuff.
