Default Mobile Broadband!

Has anyone tried the mobile broadband on offer with T-Mobile or 3. Was wondering what reception is like etc.

Not used it myself but a mate of mine at work was complaining to the the other day because 'unlimited' apparently only means 100 hours

How they get away with advertising it as unlimited is beyond me.

Aye this Unlimited crap seems to be the word of many broadband providers, Virgin Media are another one that advertise all this Unlimited crap but if you download too much they cap your speeds, my advice Stay Away from these two bit rip off merchants.

I have managed to find a service that actually promises you and delivers everything, switched over from Virgin (because of the above issues) to a company called BE , im now on a 24mb Down , 2.5mb up Line which is 1:1 Ratio meaning i dont share it with anyone on my exchange.

How much does it cost per month Dave? Do BE use BT wholesale or are they LLU? Also, how far are you from your BT exchange?

The data allowances are capped as well, as well as the hours. The top package on 3 costs £25 a month, but only allows for 7Gb of downloads. Beware.

I've got a 3 one. Depends where you are, but it's very hit and miss. Some days you wouldn't know it wasn't normal broadband, while others it's in and out of connection. No good for playing poker when it's like that, but if you want it for web use I don't think it would matter too much.

I also can't connect to Full Tilt when I'm on it, but that could be because I have problems with that software anyway.

No good for me then mate, but I too have problems with full tilt (aol) in fact every game I play on there I get disconnected at some point.
