To All,

If you use Internet Explorer to surf the internet and purchase items online then you need to apply this Windows Fix for the recent vulnerability found whereby attackers can download your credit card info stored in Internet Explorer if you visit a website infected with the exploit trojan. All you have to do is visit a site that's being used to capture your info and it automatically steals it.

Microsoft is releasing a configuration change for Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003, to address recent malicious attacks against Internet Explorer, also know as Download.Ject.

Windows customers are encouraged to apply this configuration change immediately to help be protected from current Internet Explorer exploits.

save to the desktop and install with your browser closed.

what about other browsers ? i use Avant browser, is there a way to check if it's safe to use ?

yeh Komp, Windows update is blocking known blacklisted keys.

so your must be one.

there's a few ways on the internet on how to change your key to a valid one. I have to look around again.

but I know that Microsoft will be releasing XP service pack 2 soon and it will have more keys blacklisted.

I'll tell u what to do tomorrow Komp as i dont have a valid key @ hand but u need it asap as without you must not have any updates even service pack 1 , this may explain a lot of ur problems.
