| This is my first post I've got a problem. I need an excelsheet that shows me when I can get off my pick and go all green. It's getting disturbing to calculate all the time F.e. Back Player A @2.1 Back Player B @2.1 I'd be glad if someone could help me ![]() |

| Depends slightly what you are going al green on (wasn't he a singer?) I posted this workbook a while back http://www.punterslounge.com/forum/s...855#post328855 which shows if you back at a bookie, how much you can lay it at betfair for when taking into account the commission. If you are betting only at Betfair, then just make the % 0 then you will see the odds to lay for. My original workbook confused the guy i was making it for so thats why i locked the cells etc. The last sheet in the workbook shows the formulas i use so you should be able to see what is going on. If you lay first, then want to back, the workbook doesn't do that, but you should be able to work out the formulas - or just shout here if you are having a problem. My first comment of "it depends" was if there are more than just a single back and lay calculation involved. Say for example in a horse race, you had backed 2 horses and layed 3. There are formulas to get all the horses all green (depending on the available odds) but they are quite complex (for me at least) posted this thread before. http://gruss-software.co.uk/phpBB2/v...ighlight=#3152 Did it while i had a cold so this formula works for backing 1 / selection_odds * (max_profit - Selection_P/L) and Uncle Ernie does a very good explanation for the laying. Was in touch with him and i work my formulas in reverse to him (just to be awkward) but we get the same results. Hope this is what you were looking for. Edit: Just noticed you were talking about dutching (you'll get used to me eventually) For multiple laying, http://www.punterslounge.com/forum/s...135#post550135 for multiple backing, ![]() ![]() Hope this makes sense. ![]() I promise i'm not always this dippit.
