aye ur right, wonder how big the episodes r, so ur expecting to pay 20 quid or so for the extras?

cause that was the cost of vice and liberty city stories.

I'm expecting pretty much full new games (but the truth is I dont really know).....

I understand there are 2xnew episodes with about 10 hours gameplay each - so 20 hours overall....

Looks like zero chance of receiving early copies....

Unfortunately all those who thought they would get the game early from retailers such as GAME or ShopTo are in for a surprise, ShopTo have thrown a thread up on their forum informing everyone that they have signed an agreement with Take-Two not to send the game out any earlier than Monday 28th.

"After countless meetings and hours upon hours of phone calls, blood, sweat, tears and a one off meeting inside a toilet (inside joke) and ShopTo are proud to announce that we will now be able to (subject to it arriving when we have paid for it to arrive and in full order quantity) fufil all pre-orders of Grand Theft Auto IV on both XBOX 360 and Playstation 3 with both normal and limited editions for all pre-orders made before Saturday 19th April 2008.

As predicted by myself and many others months ago, Take2 sent us a street date agreement that we have had to sign which means we cannot ship until Monday next week, this also includes an embargo on staff getting copies either paid for or free so alot of us are in same posiion.

Is your stock going to be UK or European?
The stock will also be a mix of UK and European, there is no way to guarentee a certain version for anyone so if you are not happy with recieving a European version feel free to cancel your pre-order.

PAL and European Copies, whats the difference?
The only difference is the rating board which has rated the game, the UK versions will be rated by the BBFC as 18 and the European ones have been rated 18+ by the PEGI board. The Euro version may also give you some difficulty if you want to trade it in as not all high street retailers accept them but many others still do and you could always sell it on SellTo aswell .

Sony unveils GTA IV PS3 bundle

Sony has finally unveiled an official Grand Theft Auto IV PS3 bundle for Europe.

It will cost GBP 319.99 (EUR 400) and include a 40GB PS3 with a Sixaxis pad and a copy of the game. It has a pretty box, too.

"We are delighted to offer the millions of PS3 and GTA fans the ultimate gaming package," said David Reeves, boss of Sony Europe.

Retailers have the bundle ready to buy right now and promise delivery on the day of GTA IV release - 29th April.

This is weird, i was thinking the same thing in work today. I have seen some photos from a console mag who had played the multiplayer and TBH it didn't look that good, i mean COD looks alot better, but then in the early days GTA wasn't about graphics, but gameplay.

My argument is that this is bollox now, its next Gen the consoles can do amazing things, sp the Gameplay AND graphics SHOULD be top drawer. I will try and find the photos, but the characters looked chunky/blocks.

I will still get it and Love it but i think they need to move on and stop resting on the past. Look at COD (granted COD 4 was made by a different company)

Also like every other fecken game i bet you that there are online gaming problems, its a fecken cert.

Just read one of the first total reviews in Official Playstation Mag, Its about 10 pages, and all i can say is the game sounds fecken amazing. If you have a chance get the mag it will certain put the "i want it now" back in your mind

It explains some of the missions, how the game works, missions on the phone, plus other things the phone can do (you can upgrade ur phone and get ringtones ffs)

From this article i can safely say that GTA has moved on and made some huge leaps in terms of graphics and gameplay, so the guy i have quoted above is a tw@t

seen these doing the rounds, but i refuse to watch them, i aint gonna ruin my first exerience of the game.
