I shot Playboy X. There wasn't much doubt in my mind. Dwayne got my sympathy, plus he's a bit like Belic in a sense.

I wouldn't even want to go back in the game and shoot Dwayne. I'm gonnae make a thread for those who've completed it.

Fwiw i killed Dwayne as i reckoned Playboy being rich etc would give me a pad and lots of money (and i love money!). Turned out i didn't get a pad and he disowned me So now i have to go back to the other island every time i want to save the game Not that i've played it in ages anyway, there's just too much to do!

I shot playboy and got his apartment, i'd did the bank job by that point, so money wasn't an issue.

I got the safehouse in east holland, but I've not set foot in it since. The appartment that roman got us near middle park, is in a much better location.

I see not need to drag nikio all the way to harlam. There are no missions up there; I'm doing stuff for Ray just now, and he's all the way down in little italy.

GTA IV DLC for Xbox 360 delayed

As part of its Q2 financial reports, Take-Two has admitted that episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV on Xbox 360 has been delayed from fiscal Q4 2008 to Q1 2009, GamesIndustry.biz reports.

In real terms, that means you can expect to see it pop up on Xbox Live during the three months from November to January inclusive, instead of "autumn" as had previously been touted - not least by Microsoft, which has used the promise of DLC in the autumn to try and lure gamers to its platform.

In a conference call to investors, Take-Two said that the decision was made due to portfolio balancing, rather than development issues, and did not give any pricing information for the episodic content. Nor would it confirm or deny plans for a handheld version of Grand Theft Auto IV.

78 per cent of Take-Two's total publishing revenue for the quarter came from GTA IV and catalog sales of prior GTA titles. The game, which was released on 29th April worldwide, celebrated its fifth week at the top of the UK All-Formats Top 40 a few days ago.

Help, I think i'm fcuked.

Just after I did the first mission for Derrick, my safe house in alderney disappeared. Derrick was on my map once, i didn't do his mission, went on and did other things, I've did all the mafia stuff, just finished the "pest control" mission and I'm screwed.

none of the post smackdown mcready missions are avail to me.

Has anyone got a PS3 savegame from around the smackdown time, anywhere soon after the bank I guess. I can just about face doing all the mafia stuff again but not starting.

failing that, has anyne got a save game around pest control ? PS3 is what I need

DM appeared on the map at the docks after I did the smackdown mission. I didn't do his mission, did something else.

He disappeared from the map. My Aldernay safe house disapeared at the same time. Didn't think much of it.

I've killed Ray and there's nothing to do.

I haven't done any of the McReady missions post bank job.

Someone must have a save game they can send me ??? Please ?

"You'll get a text message from Francis shortly after completing “Tunnel of Death” in Derrick's mission line. He needs to meet with you in Castle Garden. You'll have to choose to kill either Derrick or Francis. If you kill Derrick, you can then make use of Francis' call-in ability that completely lowers any wanted level. It's a nice ability, however you will miss out on an additional mission in Francis' mission line if you keep him alive, so killing Derrick would effectively prevent you from attaining 100% completion. All things considered, you've been fine without Francis' ability up to this point, so it'd be better to kill Francis for completion sake.

Francis and Derrick are to meet each other at the courtyard park in Lancet, Algonquin. Make your way over there and climb up onto the scaffolding in front of the marked building. Ride the lift up to the roof and step into the marker there to trigger a cutscene. Afterwards, pick your target and fire away. With the McReary brother you have chosen dead, get back to street level and leave the area to complete the mission."

You can't...

If you do all Derrick's mission before this mission, he disappears from the map. After this map he re-appears and gives you two more missions...


Also have you tried ringing Packie?

I played this last week at my mates for the first time.

Not too sure about it at first, looks like it will take alot of getting used to. Going to get it within next few weeks.... eventually!

Rent it first, would be my advice

play it for abit then decide, there have been mixed reviews, as you can tell AJ loves the game but I didn't, i completed the main story and traded it in about a week ago.

Packie is fine, he's my buddy.

The Derrick missions never take place in my save game, it's screwed. There is no tunnel of death, there is nothing after smackdown. The Aldernay safehouse has also disappeared. I have a text from ray telling me about it, but it no longer appears on the map.

There is a chain of dependancies which open up missions, mine is broken due to a bug in the game, I have a series of mission that I can never do, that means I can never complete the story line.

Without a save game, I have no alternative, but to go back to pre bank job and do everything again.

So, couldn't get a save game :<

Had to go back and repeat about 20 missions, but it meant that I got to do the McReady missions including the kidnap that didn't take place last time round.

I went for Revenge (didn't everyone ?) last couple of missions were very hard.

Bring on the DLC !!

did you save it b4 the choice, so you can go and do both endings.

Did you do anything different from the last time, that fecked ur game up, or was it just a bug?

Just a bug I guess, about 15 missions missing, did nothing different.

played both endings, deal was crappy. I'm so glad I did revenge first.


There will be DLC for the PS3, market it too big not to be

Yeah I ve been reading that there will be DLC for PS3 its just that Micro$oft paid for the exculsive DLC.

Not that it will effect me as I traded this game in, it just didn't do it for me, for reasons mentioned throughout this thread.

Yeah I'm not sure of the reasons why and I did enjoy the game but hav'nt touched it now for at least a month .

I wont trade it in as I may go back to it someday but at the moment cant really be bothered and I'm back on COD with my mates.
