did the first racing mission, didn't bother with the rest of them. It was just a distraction from the plot. wasn't that impressed with the racing anyway, not in the class of burnout

I think i made the wrong choice when it came to choosing which 1 of the 2 dudes to kill ... The other dude didn't seem v happy

Had a pretty epic gaming moment in one of the missions where you have to dress all smart. I got run over going to the building so lost some health there ... then of course you have to shoot your way out of the building - i got shot a lot near the start and by the time i got to the bottom floor my health was so low i literally couldn't even take 1 more bullet

Some good old button bashing, swapping between target after target ensued mowing down copper after copper until i was on 4* and the building was clear! Then somehow i managed to not only run out the building but find a car, smash into it and drive away without getting hit again! Managed to lose all 4* worth of coppers without a pay 'n' spray too the feds must have gone on strike! or maybe i did kill them all ...

Anyway the game is living up to all billing now .

I'm about 26% of the way in, money is a big issue for me, got down to $6 in cash at one point today, worked out my probem is spending too much money on sniper bullets, these puppies cost $63 each, and I've did a lot of sniping, gonna switch over to the shotgun to save some cash.

If you fancy a bit of fun, head over to Happiness island ( I swam), there is very little police resources on the island, you can start offing tourists, then take car of the police. They can't send cars, and the helicopters can be taken out with the AK. I murdered everyone on the island, down 7 choppers and only had a 3 star wanted level which I lost by hajacking a boat and sailing to hove beach.

I'm loving this game, but it's starting to creep into myself, I got a new haircut yesterday which the wife calls a Nicko Bellic cut, does look pretty similer, I also have a strange desire to buy Hotdogs for lunch.

Did you do many of the side missions (Brucies races/pidgeon killing/stunt jumps etc) and what % are you showing ? Be interesting to see how much % is attributed to the other stuff

That 'old hospital' level is doing my fooking head in.

The one where you have to retrieve the coke and then the whole SWAT team nail you as you try to get out from the maze of doors.

Managed to get myself a helicopter and take a few scenic free roams looks great at night.

A friend of mine's nephew(12) got it....his dad is livid that he has been talking to sum guys at work and they ave said further into the game there are prostitutes....so he has took the game off him and has took it back to the shop the poor lad is gutted as all his friends are still playing it

Failed this level several times before working out a different way to do it, details below in blue

Kill all the thugs, but whatever you do, don't touch the coke.

Make sure you know your way out of the building before you touch the coke, do the run a couple of times.

When the cops arrive, do the bare minimum to get out, use the shotgun, you have to take down three of them i think, just run run run.

As you get out of the building, look slightly to your right, go through the gap in the fence next to the burnt out car, and jump straight into the river. There is a speedboat there, jump in and hammer it out into clear water, be careful to avoid going near aldernay, it triggers the 6 star wanted level. The boat can out run anything the cops have, head round to Hove Beach, there is a jetty near the house of the russian guy you shot earlier, ditch the boat there and head back to your safe house

Yeh i tried that mission once, thought i'd done it then ofc you get that damn wanted level whilst still in the building

Another one i'm sucking at is the one where you go to kill that dude on the roof, again the hard bit isn't killing the normal dudes but getting away with barely any health left

Did a few side missions, but mostly concentrated on the story as I was hooked on what was gonna happen next. gonna play the side missions next as there are some good ones.

What happens if you've failed a mission and then not re-taken it? Just I think my brother played a mission when he was down last weekend and failed and so I think I've lost it. The reason I think this is that it says missions failed = 9 and then replays = 8, so there's 1 missing. Will be grrr if it means I can't complete the game because of it! Not really in the mood just yet to go through the game to get back to where I am again.

The other thing that annoys me is doing all the mates stuff. When Roman, Little Jacob, Brucie etc call and want to do a show or meal! I don't really want to do any of it because it's boring as sin but get the feeling that you have to.

Not sure, but since the missions are part of a story then i cant see how u can skip one. Find out which one he fecked up and u should find it on the map. Also u said missions failed 9, replayed 8, well thats correct cause u didn.t use the replay function. But you prob done the mission without knowing itat a later date.

The mates stuff u can actually forget about it, its not that important tbh, just do them when u finish the game. The only bonus is Jacob gives u cheap weapons and packie can rig any vehicle with bombs when you do their mates thing

Replaying is just a shortcut to the beginning of the mission without having to treavel there again - if you dont replay, no worries, just means you have to travel to the marker again when you're ready....

The strip club seems to go a bit further with successive dances - on my 3rd one I got past the two ladies show (same as 2nd one) - the ladies then left and Nico was just sat there - it wasn't frozen, he was still animating, but I couldnt move him and I couldn't do anything ... seemed to be a bug ..... anyone got past the 3rd dance in the strip club?

I snipered a bloke on a boat nr the island with the hope that it would be there when I come out the hospital.

I thought a quick swim to the Yacht Id be sorted , anyway I killed all the bad guys and did 2 practice runs for an exit tot he river.

Jumped over the wall into the drink to look for my yacht and as luck would have it no boat

Looked round and low and behold a speed boat

I think people panic when doing the missions

the hospital one is fine if:

1: Always start all missions with armour vest.
2: most missions are not timed, so stay in cover and blast a path for yourself, this may mean staying and firing from cover for a few minutes, but hey its worth it.
3: Always click auto aim it will find bad guys who u miss or cant see
4: if u manage to get a car drop grenades when u drive off, cause the carnage u cause helps alot

Haven't done any more missions the last few days, every time i go on the game i just hop in one of my supercars parked outside and go cruising/ rampaging - seems a lot more fun than the missions!

On that note one of my fave things on the game is killing the drivers/ passengers of cars that you hit at high speed, realistic!

I've only just got the game and not played it for long. I spend most of the time driving round and running people over, tried it on with that Michelle bird and she told me to get fcuked, maybe cos I wrecked her car.
I noticed someone drop a hot dog so I picked it up and threw it at someones head who was sat on a bench, funny as fcuk. I see what you mean about needing money, i'm always bloody skint.
