You can download the original GTA for free of the rockstar site now, and GTA 2 coming soon, so I got that!
Problem is it has bugs and keeps messing up!

I made it light blue like he said, i made it white first cause i thought the Background was white

Just another question guys. How big is the map?

Vice City was decent but San Andreas is huge.... Is this one bigger???

I think this is smaller than San Andreas - it's certainly not bigger.

It is 100% urban though, unlike San Andreas.

Funny thing and stupid thing from GTA today:

Funny: After getting 4* wanted level managed to nick one of the copper's Hummers, parked it outside my pad and saved the game to get them off. Went outside got in the hummer and just as i'm cycling through radio stations a copper opens the back door ... and shoves a criminal in the back! Only problem came when the copper took his seat alongside me in the front and quickly realised i wasn't one of his colleagues . Got a 1* level, quickly got away.

Stupid: At the end of one of the missions i get a 3* wanted level so a chase ensues for ages resulting in my car setting alight so i have to get out ... Before i can sprint to a car to get away in some noob rings me as part of the mission and so it's automatically accepted and it seemed necessary to listen to ... So there i am nattering away on the phone at walking pace as half of liberty city police force is baring down on me and putting quite a few caps in my ass resulting in death. Not good planning from rockstar ...

So am at 50% and am just wondering how much more of the main story is there to do. Taknig into account:

All Police missions
All Fire Missions
All Ambulance Missions
All Taxi Missions

All the jobs for the people on your phone
Kill All the pigeons
Do all the jobs for the people on the mini map (as you drive around you will see a blue man symbol, only shown on mni map)
Getting all the cars for Brucie and also his M8

So am think 60% main game 40% everythiing else?

Don't think there are Fire Missions or Ambulance Missions in this version of GTA. There are however, jumps to find on the map and I think those count. I am at around 40% but stuck on three missions and keep banging my head against a brick wall with them! The three leaf clover, the stripper club and the helicopter... I can't land the bloody helicopter seemingly where it wants me to which is bloody annoying!! Only tried once at it but made a few attempts to land during that time and ended up trashing the helicopter.

Story Missions	68%	Complete the main story
Friends	10%	Go to each activity at least once, and unlock all friend abilities
Random Character Missions	5%	Complete all randmom character missions, except for the random characters you've killed
Win at all mini-games	5%	Pool, bowling, and darts
Most Wanted Missions	2.5%	Complete all 30 most wanted missions
Current Crimes Missions	2.5%	Complete all 20 current crimes missions
Flying Rats	2.5%	Kill all 200 pigeons
Stunt Jumps	2.5%	Complete all 50 stunt jumps
Car Theft missions	2%	Do all 30 car theft missions

cool, cheers for the breakdown, so only 18% of the story left

and only 199 flying rats left

I've just unlocked the middles island, bought myself a $1000 suit and am looking sharp.

Feels like the game has just entered a whole new phase

Aparently the game has two endings, you make a choice 3 or 4 missions from the end, and that selects what branch the game goes down, the final missions differ because of it.

I guess the correct approach is to get a save game and play both branches

Anyone done any of Brucie's races yet?

Ive won 4 out of 5 first time whilst using the balboa i think which was given to me after the mission No.1.
But i dont seem to get any rewards for doing the job!

Also how do you kill the pigeons?? i dont think ive seen 1 yet!
