Default Excel formula question

Its been a while since i asked a question so heres the annual query lol

I have a number in each cell in column P in my file, going down a list of football matches, the number is open ended and can be anything. What i want is for the cell in column T of each row to show me if the number is within a certain range.

If its greater than 1.00 i want to to say 'yes', and if its lower than -1.00 i want it to say 'no', if its anywhere in between i want it to stay empty.

I know about IF queries and such but wonder if its possible when im trying to use a certain range rather than a single number.

Muchos appreciado

Default Re: Excel formula question

=if(P1>1,"Yes",if(P1<-1,"No",""))

That should do the trick in T1, then you can copy it down
