Dead links - The Punters Lounge

A problem thats cropped up over the last week is that certain links on websites arent working anymore.

As an example if you go to www.betfair.com and click on "forum pop-up" nothing happens, whereas before, a new window would open. I'm pretty sure its not due to a pop-up blocker though.

One thing I have noticed is that when you hover over the link, the destination web address used to appear at the bottom-left of my screen. Now I am seeing:

javascript: perform('forum popup' , 'FSNPU');

In fact similar messages appear when I hover over the links to the different markets as well.

Does anyone know why they are no longer working?

It may be that java has become corrupted so you could try to uninstall / reinstall from the Sun site.

I see javascript: perform('forum popup' , 'FSNPU'); as well, and it pops up ok for me.

Can you get any javascript to work at any other website ?

Not quite the same but all of a sudden I am unable to hear any comentary on the At The Races site and Stan James live audio.

Do you think this could be to do with Java.??

Every other thing I use for sound works ok.
