can anyone help? there are so many pirate games for the Wii, do i need a special chip or something. Where can i purchase one? Or can you play pirate games on a Wii as it is?

Like anything in life, becomes easier with practice. I had 2 chips on my xbox and paid some kid £30 a time to do it. Thought bollox on the third, im gonna do it myself. Just got an old modem, soldering iron, solder and started practicing for a few hours. Some tutorials on the net, just have a search, some vids also on youtube. It's not that difficult to be honest. Done my xbox no probs. Although i put chip on back to front at first, harder part was desoldering it.

The deluxe version I would go for, has a few more options. This looks a simple chip to install, only a few wires.

It's a piece of piss once you've got a bit of practice. I wouldn't try chipping a Wii on your first go though.

I really dont think I should practice on his Wii!!

I don't know much about Wii, but I do remember reading an article that Wiikey is a good chip.
