| Hi guys, is anyone else having problems logging into hotmail over the last two days - or is it just ME! Since wednesday night can't log in using Outlook or directly using the www address. Please let it not just be me............. |

| Cheers for that lads, have tried Outlook, mozilla and explorer without any luck - must be some poxy setting that has changed. If there's any experts out there the error msg i'm getting on outlook reads 'Unable to poll for new messages on your HTTP server. Account: 'Hotmail', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12019, Error Number: 0x80004005 Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. Account: 'Hotmail', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp', Protocol: HTTPMail, Port: 0, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12019, Error Number: 0x80004005' So any suggestions would be greatly received... | Hi Guys, thanks for the pointers guys - still no joy! Can't even log in directly to the www.hotmail.com site. Is this something to do with windows live I get to the log in screen - enter my address and password It then goes to a blank screen with a 'http://login.live.com/........' address and the page freezes with the message on the bottom reading 'Waiting for http://by107fd.bay107.hotmail.msn.com' Any ideas would be great on this - really have to get into my mail asap - before I think about ditching hotmail after all this drama........ |

| Getting a bit worried now, installed and ran Ad-Aware and Spybot - found a couple of things and repaired them Tried logging in to www.hotmail & http://login.live.com using IE and Mozilla and it hangs on a blank page Also can't log into myspace and problems with ticketmaster Is this a problem with https:// sites At my wits end on this one so any guidance would be great |
