Microsoft helpline fixed the problem. She had me Delete Cookies, Delete Files and Clear History from the Tools, Internet Options, General tab (which Larry had suggested)

But THIS IS WHAT I think FIXED IT.....Then she had me UNCHECK the box for Enable Third Party Browser Extensions in the Advanced Section (all other setting in Advanced Section are set to Default). I had to click "Apply" then reboot my computer. Now Secure Sites are coming up again.
I hope this helps you.
Try that mate.

You might try setting Privacy to 'medium' in IE (open IE -> Tools -> internet options -> Privacy). Maybe this could help.

Do you have some kind of firewall installed (maybe Norton)?

You're right about Norton
Well, try disabling any firewally and antivirus software. If you can log in after that, then you know where the problem is.

I dont know what version of Windows you are using but...

You could go here http://www.verisign.com/advisor/check.html

To ensure your browser is secure
* What browser and version you're using
* Your browser's encryption strength-standard 40-bit SSL, or 128-bit SSL: the strongest encryption available
* Upgrade recommendations

How to troubleshoot problems accessing Secure Web Sites

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;870700

How to troubleshoot situations where you cannot connect to SSL secured (128-Bit) Web sites by using Internet Explorer in Windows XP

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813444

If using IE you could click tools, internet options, and the advance tab. Scroll toward the bottom. Make sure the SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 boxes have a checkmark in them.

Good luck!

I think this is fatfingersitus.

you need to go to your doctors and ask them for a keyboard with bigger keys as mashing your hands against the keys won't work.

Take 2 slimfast per day and see me after 30 days if symptoms persist
