For breakfast probably a full fry up with champers/orange juice.

Xmas dinner around 3pm
Prawn salad to start then kids will probably have roast chicken with all the trimmings and for me and the wife probably have a big leg of lamb again with all the roast spuds mash and veg followed by Black forest gateaux washed down by all sorts of alcoholic drinks.

probably smoked fish (haddock or salmon) and poached eggs for brekkie with a glass or 2 of sparkling rose wine.

lunch will be a light veggie soup, followed by rooster with some seasonal vegetables picked that morning from my dad's garden and then christmas pud and cream.

usually half a pint of Andrews Liver Salts taken at around 4.30 pm puts me in good stead for the night

and then just wait for the "attack of the trumps"....ooops....

We will probably have the normal turkey with all the trimmings. As long as I get my sausages wrapped in bacon I don't care what else there is.

It's funny because you can have them anytime of year but they don't taste the same as when you have them for Christmas.

We will have the usual Christmas dinner:

Turkey, stuffing, Gammon, mash, roast potatoes, parsnips, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, peas, SPROUTS ( Carl) and pigs in blankets.

This is like us - if we have turkey or chicken in the year for a Sunday roast we have these - and I agree - not as nice as at Christmas.

Plus I always cook a few extra for snacking on later.

We're having traditional Danish christmas dinner which will be very interesting as we're having Pauls sister, Michaela and her 2 kids, Michael and Luke, over here for christmas ... my brother and his girlfriend will be here and my sister and her boyfriend too...

So... a cristmas for all the siblings with no parents... for the first time... which means I will do all the cooking

We have roasted duck, roasted pork with crunchy top, white potatoes and brown potatoes (small potatoes fried in butter and sugar, so they're sweet), boiled red cabbage and loads of brown gravy made from the 2 roasts ... is great

... normally I am not very much into christmas, but this year I can't wait
